Just an idea but, my pony was ridden in a gag and now can ride in a parelli halter only so, a snaffle might be an idea :-] I got fed up of yanking as well but tbh thats the WRONG way to ride, if you loosen your rein trust me they will slow down! I dint believe it at 1st but i tried it and it works, they get tired of it :) xx
Hey, oh god no offence to you but parelli is a load of wank! I would never, and not even see the point in riding her in a halter.. she isn't a gypo horse she's a jumper lol.. And i've just taken her out of a snaffle to a pelham.. to stop the yanking.. there's no yanking happening in this video, trust me. Loosen my reins with jade.. haha never.. it would be the death of me. Thankyou for your suggestions, but my mare is not like that x

Ok explain to me why this horse when Cat bought it was basically fecked, she couldnt go over a 1ft cross pole and now shes jumping 2'9 clear rounds. Might not be big or amazing to you but to see this horse how she was and now I dont think anyone has the right to comment that cat cant ride this mare. Another thing where are your vids, showing us all how its done?! No ones perfect, Cat is always open to constructive crit, but that mate, was below the belt.

You know nothing about her honestly, no i'm not a very neat rider.. but if you had seen what this mare was like when i got her you'd understand. The trot and canter are fine thankyou, in a lovely outline.. smooth :) she's a darling of a horse.. and the jumps.. well she's jumping! And quite beautifully if i say so myself!
