I see GM still doesn't get it. A Platinum Edition wont get people in the show rooms. Like wivese86 said it looks like a toyota avalon. You cant be a leader if you are always following someone. Plus this design is getting old Cadillac. I was tired of this design after the CTS got it. Buick's are starting to looking better than Cadillac's. Rather buy a LaCrosse...looks better AND Its cheaper. Yup I said it BUICK. Cadi-lacks
@LEVEL2270 Perhaps Cadillac feels that if BMW can make each of their signatures sedans basically the same car with different sizes, then they can too. This does look a bit similar to other caddies. But it's size and minor details set it above everything else. However, if you know of a Buick that looks THIS good or better, let me know. I want that car.

Cadillac has two large car platforms in the works. AWD EPSILON II platform (LaCrosse, 9-5, Alpheon) and the RWD ZETA platform (Park Avenue, Caprice, Veritas). A V-12 could fit a ZETA platformed Cadillac if GM builds one.
XTS is based on the EPSILON II platform. It has a tranverse mount engine compartment and a front transaxle with no room for a V-12.
The XTS, V-Series or otherwise will never have a V-12.
You know. I've owned Gm's all my life. I have two Caddy's. One new, and one a few years old, and a Buick Enclave for the family. I like GM, especially Cadillac and recently Buick. But Cadillac I wish could break from GM. That way Cadillac can be free to do what they know in their heart is what can truly bring them back as Standard of the World. The XTS is absolutely amazing. It has the most amazing potential to attack the German rivals. GM better let it too!
You definitely have NO idea what you are talking about. If you knew anything about this car, you'd know it wasn't just a "concept for motor show purposes" Get you're facts straight. And if you know much about Cadillac recently you'd also know that their newer "concepts" Look identical to the production cars, just with out the concept glitz. Such as the Provoq-new SRX. CTS Coupe concept-CTS coupe. Look them up. And once again do research, it's already scheduled for production in the Oshawa plant.
i really love that despite GM's failures and problems, Cadillac is staying true to the brand, with the large bodies and the vertical thin tail lights, i love it!
I thought Cadillac has only developed this car this year.

@fp3shb
it's just a concept for motor show
purposes; the real car might look
dramatically different than this if GM
release it.
