  • Go elle

  • Such a powerful scene. :)

  • I wanna be a lawyer but they told me it takes 4 years. That sucks.

  • oh so THATS why Niki from Heroes looked so familiar! ^^

  • How MISGUIDED are you? I feed you a couple of bullshit legal precedents, and there you go - you jump on it like a bitch in heat.

You have any idea of what justice is? Whatever happened to justice? I bet you take it up the ass bitch.

  • And I thought I had a bad hair day o_0

  • i love this scene, it inspired me to study my law subject way back when i was in college lol xD

  • Probably one of the few chick flicks I'll watch...it's adorable

  • This is my favourite scene cause I love how she keeps going on about the shower then then moment Chutney (the daughter) says 'got a perm' she goes on about haircare and Chutney confesses. That's just awesome.

  • Just got goosebumps

  • I love that pink dress she's wearing.

  • @ cursedswordsmen THAT is my favorite part!!!!!! Lol don't u stomp ur last season prada boots at me! HES GAY lmfao

  • Love the hair, Your Honor.

  • Thats the girl from Final Destination... :)

  • "..she didn't have your bone structure"

    "aww.."

  • i loooooooooooooooooooce this movie

  • LOVE WHEN ELLE SLAYS THIS PART.

  • Chuck is just a friend!

    YOU BITCH!

  • its like thw good wife. haha :)

  • After seeing this movie for years I just notice that the girl who plays the daughter is Linda Cardilenni who played Velma in the live action Scooby Doo movies.

  • @NCISfan083

If that's the case then Ellen Paige looks a lot like her...

  • @NCISfan083 Omigod, you're right! And she was also in ER for years. But we weren't to know.. the ammonium thioglycolate did its job really well in the movie!

  • @NCISfan083 "Exactly. Because isn't the first cardinal rule of perm maintenance that you're forbidden to wet your hair for at least 24 hours after getting a perm at the risk of deactivating the ammonium thioglycolate?"

  • @NCISfan083 You spelled "Freaks and Geeks" wrong.

  • @NCISfan083 wow! thanks for pointing it out! didn't realize it until now! Thanks!!

  • @NCISfan083 omg ur so totally right ive whatched the movies fro years i knew i had seen her before

  • Dude why her friend raise her hand...like ohh pick me!!LOL

  • I remember seeing this movie for the first time and even I went "oh my god" haha

  • do people really still say no homo. come on

  • Why is the judge a black snooki?

  • What a bitch judge!

  • 17 people ruined their perm

  • Certification under Rule 3.03 must be sought by a law student at least three months prior to the student’s graduation.

  • VOTE FOR ELLE!!!! LOL

  • GIRL POWER!!

  • THATS VELMA HAHAHAHA

  • i'd watch this again n again

  • omg that girl with the puffy hair the murderer was velma from scooby doo :DD

  • @iluvecupcakes5 and she would've gotten away with it, if it wasn't for meddling blonde, lol

  • i'm doing my first mock trial in an hour for the pre-law fraternity i'm pledging for.... Im so nervous and had to watch this! <3

  • i like her because she is so blond, cute and SMART in this movie

  • I get chills when she starts going all lawyer on their asses.

  • omg i love this movie. its freakin hilarious!

  • In the other curt scene I liked this bit

    "And your boyfriends name?"

    "Chuck"

    *everyone gasps!*

"No, no wait! I was confused...chuck is just a friend.."

    "YOU BITCH!"

    "You got into Harvard Law?"

"What? Like it's hard?" I <3 Elle Woods!

  • 1:55 i love when they randomly come in and disturb lol, they r like lil barbies

  • OMG I Love how comfortable Elle got after she heard she got a perm then got a shower, so confident in winning it!

  • They would have a black judge

  • @localazn208 why does the judge color even matter, smh

  • I have a feeling that Chetney and/or her mom paid the lawyer & the gay pool boy to find a way to make sure Brooke would be charged for murder and come up with ways to have the court find her guilty so Chetney wouldn't get in trouble for it but it didn't as planned thanks to Elle's ways that not even the smartest lawyer could come up with to prove Brooke's innocent

  • that is so awesome

  • 6:30 SUPERB

  • RAAAAAAPPPPEEEE!!! that perm girl got shitted on.

  • Lmao I love how Elle solved a murder case all because of the woman revealing she got a perm lol. Elle is the best lawyer ever. :P

  • @sharapova4eva and found the things that aren't really that important were really useful to help solve it

  • chutney (Linda Cardellini) look so much like ellen page in this scene

  • Legally Blonde sure is a sexy movie

  • Is this a true story?

  • @leafyutube no.

  • @leafyutube Yes this is a true story, in fact this is a documentary.

  • the girl who plays chutney is velma in the scooby doo films :)

  • The girl was obviously wrong to try to kill anyone, but I do feel bad that her dad married someone her own age.

  • @thevampirefrog06

    Why????

Love doesn't care about the ages of the people it strikes...

Also the new Mrs had her own money to begin with as did the Mr. So Mrs didn't marry Mr for his money...

  • @h06anbjo I don't have a problem with the marriage itself, I just see why the daughter's upset. I'd be pretty pissed if my dad married someone my age. Not "kill my stepmother" upset, but upset nonetheless.

  • @thevampirefrog06

The only thing she would've had to have done is talk to her father... Also, she had seen her parents marriage not work, she's 27ish years old... She shouldn't have a say in who her father marries...

  • hard to belive that the evil step daughter would go on to be a member of Mystery Inc

  • I'm a guy and I have to say this is got to be my favorite chick flick.. no homo.

  • @theYguy300 shut up sad cunt 4channer " no homo" delusional 4cahnner

  • @goestyou

well now I know why they call you "goes to you"... because you troll around like a bitch begging for a dick.

  • @theYguy300 awww the nerd is angry :) owned

  • @goestyou

thanks for pointing out the obvious, I just didn't know it was going to be that easy to own you.

    Well later loser.

  • @theYguy300 yes homo i love to look good all the time

  • @theYguy300 ..no homo..thanx mate see how homophobic yu are!

  • @theYguy300

    You're awesome. :)

  • @theYguy300 Don't say no homo....

  • @theYguy300 Mine's Serendipity, but this film is cool

  • @theYguy300 That's cuz it's a feel good movie!

  • haha i love when every1 turns

  • I think beginning of the film show that Elle dyes her hair blonde, technically she's not blonde? if so then this film doesn't really prove the blonde≠dumb (the main point of the film)

& why are there undertones of "blonde superiority"? this is just a masked way of showing it, since Elle helps prove the other blonde "innocent" (shaming the "guilty" frizzy-haired brunette)

I'm sure there's a better way to discourage the blonde stereotype without putting down others

    just my thoughts...

  • @TheDoritosfan1 It's not about superiority it's about proving intelligence despite the overwhelming stereotype of sub-par intelligence.

  • WHY did it take Elle so long to figure that out (proving brunette guilty) if she knows a lot about hair treatments? she obviously failed with the whole legal-term act so she had to stick to what she knows best...way to disprove the blonde=bimbo stereotype

  • @TheDoritosfan1 It was because the key to proving her guilty was that she'd gotten a perm that day. Elle probably assumed that she had gotten the perm prior to this happening, when getting the curls wet wouldn't ruin them. She was a law student, obviously not trained nor experienced enough to handle a case truly on her own and did have to rely on what she knew. Blonde or not, I'm sure everyone would feel the same in her shoes. But it's just meant to be a movie, nothing more.

  • @TheDoritosfan1 she was playing dumb to make the daughter let up her gaurd...

  • aint that the bitch from freaks and geeks?

  • i looove this scene. hahaha i know the words to the whole thing :) elle<3

  • trust in yourself that's the point ..good movie funny and a very interesting message =)

  • Got owned by a perm. lol

  • i love luke's face after the girl confesses

  • oh my god i love the woman's face at 4:13

    she is so mean hha

  • ok the prosecution is not a really good lawyer because she did not object to elle leading the questions and on of speculation

  • @will92860 OMG ! Its just a movie,shut your hole !

  • Comment removed

  • @kagomesteph good 4 you!

  • I love this movie..where can I watch it ?

  • Reese Witherspoon <3 :)

She is brilliant, talented and beautiful.

  • My mistake. The prosecutor got KTFO in less than 5 minutes.

  • Watching this was like watching Rocky. Poor Prosecutor. She got KTFO in less than 14 minutes. ROLMAO. Elle Wood Rules.

  • VOTE for Elle!! lol

  • Elle is living proof you can be beautiful and smart

  • @Serena2192 and blonde! love the message of this movie <3

  • the musical was soooo much better...

  • looool elles friends are hilarious when they come in xD!

  • @KylaOyama yup.. i just notice..

  • Chutney Windhom was an instigator

  • VOTE FOR ELLE! LOL

  • i luv this movie

  • So you got a per?

  • This movie and this scene is a part of the reason I really wanna be a lawyer. This scene is just fucking amazing!!! When Elle wins this case is just BAAAAAAM! :D

  • @latina4evaX7 but i guess because you like this scene, you probably dont think like me... if this scene actually inspired you to be a lawyer, i feel sorry for you, because this shit is nowere near what being a lawyer is really like

  • @101andrewj Then you probably should've made your point more clear. Look, we all have different opinions, obviously not everyone is going to like the same thing. You don't like it...I do. That's how the world is.

  • Comment removed

  • somebody should have stopped this movie from being made... its a shame, that they actually spent millions of dollars on this, they could have fed thousands of hungry orphans, but instead

  • @101andrewj -________________________- #fail

  • @101andrewj I honestly don't get the reason towards your previous comment. I think feeding the hungry is a very important thing, but if you're going to bash on this movie for spending millions of dollars, might as well bash on every single movie that has been made.

  • @latina4evaX7 i made the mistake of watching this movie, thats why i insulted it.. and the reason i sayd this movie was a waste, because it was no good, its not a waste to spend millions on a movie that people would actually watch and enjoy.. but this movie was straight garbage... and they ended up making 2 more

  • love this scene!!!

  • My friend and I did this for a drama tournament yesterday in group acting. I was Elle and she was Little Windom.

  • Great movie !

  • what kind of shower is powerful enough to muffle a gunshot?

  • Thank God for Emmet for steping in!

  • Although Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court rule 3.03 (cited in the film) does state that a law student may appear in court under the supervision of a licensed attorney, two key points from that rule are left out, either of which would have barred Elle from representing Brooke. One, the law student must have taken Evidence, which is not a first year class at Harvard or any other law school. Two, in order to appear in court in a criminal case, the law student must be a third year student.

  • @1mnmfan And who cares ? Its supposed to be a funny movie. God,you are so silly !

  • @1mnmfan

Haha, no one cares really. We just came to see Elle kick some judgemental ass :P If this was the only way to do it and still make it look cool, then I don't really mind that they left a few things out. As long as it doesn't hurt anyone, I'm cool. But kudos to actually knowing that (given the fact that you didn't look that up) you are an exceptional law student (if you actually are o.o) most wouldn't have even noticed.

  • I love how everyone was just laughing at her and then BAM! She WINS. Take that.

  • this movie is a comedy....will everyone making comments please take that into consideration before bombarding us with socialist arguements and human rights debates.

  • stupid girls! D

  • VOTE FOR ELLE!!!!!!!! lol

  • Poor Elle. She looked so nervous at the begining. I just wanted to walk up there and give her a big hug.

  • Amazing scene.

  • afs

  • is that ellen page as the daughter?

  • @samisalesbo looks lk her

  • @PowerPuffGirl678 Doesn't mean it is her....

  • @PowerPuffGirl678 Linda Careallini. She Played Velma in the Scooby Doo movies

  • @onenonlyprincess2 i knew i knew her from some were :) thx :P

  • i frfikin love this movie!!! especially this part because she can proove to every1 she isnt really a dumb blonde :D

  • i luv her pinkness. VOTE 4 ELLE! LOL!!

  • could someone tell me all the songs that have played at the LEGALLY BLONDE movie? thnx!

  • I think that if the makers of the movie wanted to prove that blonde people are not all stupid, they could have made her win because of her intelligence and not her knowledge of hair care.

  • @TheLouisaGirl But that wouldn't have been realistic at all, now would it? You can tell she has no experience and is uncomfortable in the courtroom until it moves to her comfortzone -> haircare.

  • @GreekFate -giggle- true. BUT I am blonde and I find this movie wonderful because she proves that she can do it, she is smart, she is a good person....etc. But I resent that in the end she only proved one point: blonde people only care and know about cosmetics and hair care products. sigh.
