  • I should admit I was never fan of fanmade trailer, but yours is fully amazing. You can be totally pround of your work.

Thanks for making us dream like that <3

  • Awesome! I could totally watch this movie.....

Like some one said, it wasn't very fluid, but then again, you DID complied different movies in to one. But all in all, great job! I could also suggest some more movie names but I'm pretty sure you wouldn't edit more in, too much work.

    Again, good job!

  • BRILLIANT! The music was bloody PERFECT - parts ripped from the game were a little off, due to their lower fidelity, but fantastic job.

The trailer itself was a little schizophrenic, but otherwise, well done.

  • wow! nice job with this video.

  • take look at this i think you will like it

MOVIE MONTAGE: A LESSON FROM AKIRA KUROSAWA

  • Wow! Nice work man. I've enjoyed the game a lot and the scenes you've selected really come close to many screens in the game and how you cut the trailer together is very good work. Thumbs up!

  • I really really have to thank you, for posting this video and telling me the names of the films you used. I already knew most of them and that they are all fantastic. I only hadn't seen the astronout farmer, and that film absolutely touched me.

  • Dear bloodrunsclear, I really really have to thank you, for posting this video and telling me the names of the films you used. I already knew most of them and that they are all fantastic. I only hadn't seen the astronout farmer, and that film absolutely touched me.

  • WOW, that was fast! Thank you very much. Besides, you've done quite a good job with this one.

  • which movies are there all in that trailer?

I'd really appreciate to know all titles.

  • Sure!

I used Aliens 3, Armageddon, The Astronaut Farmer, Journey the the Center of the Earth, Deep Impact, The Abyss, Stargate, Starocean, Star Trek (2009), and The Day the Earth Stood Still (remake). The ending dialogue and music is from the game :)

  • My first RPG game, and I loved it:)

  • @birpali

The Dig isnot an RPG at all. The Dig is aclassic Lucas Arts Adventure.

  • @FischKopfD Sorry for the mistake, I retreat it. Anyway, can somebody explain how can be an "antic" game have more riveting plot than todays adventure games?

  • Pretty cool, I could see how every clip chosen related to the game. nice work.

  • I love the old Lucasarts graphic adventures, and especially enjoyed The Dig.

My one criticism is that it feels a bit too "action-packed" for my tastes. To me, The Dig was a more mysterious, contemplative, slow-paced sort of game, occasionally punctuated by action. I got the impression from the trailer that it's advertising a typical Bruce Willis action film. Still fantastic, though, I'd even go see it.

  • This game and Half-Life would be the best Games to be made into movies, but then theres always that chance that it would spoil them.....

  • if only...

  • Great job as always M Runsclear. The ending gave me chills. What was that from???

    5/5

  • Awsome trailer again bloodrunsclear. I wish you would use some clips from Clips from "Sunshine" But o well excellent video

  • now thats great and fancy and realistic and the best way to baptise my new x-530 5.1 speakers

  • what scene was the lone astronaut walking up a ridge with multiple moons in the background?

  • Actually there's two scenes from two different films you're referring to I think. The astronaut is from Armageddon and the multiple moons are from the Will Ferrel movie Land of the Lost.

  • I read the book, played the game, and had the soundtrack.

Looking for the soundtrack again, my was cracked after my bookshelf fell on my cd's on the desk.

    would be a great movie!!!

  • This would be a great movie I would pay to see it any day!

  • That would make a great movie. Did you know that the game was based by a book by Alan Dean Foster? Trust me, the book is an Excellent read.

  • I love Alan Dean Foster! His novellas of Alien and Riddick, as well as his original stories have a casual style that's easy to read, but crazy and unique ideas that makes his works worth reading more then once.

    I want this book!

  • i recofnised so many of those films, lol!

    awesome trailer

try to work on your titles for the movies.

  • what was wrong with the title? that was the name of the game this trailer is based on. It was an old lucas arts game for the PC.

  • I think he means the title graphics :/

  • Wow. This indeed could be the real trailer for The Dig. What I missed was a scene where they show Life Pills. Damn, I need to play this game again.

  • I thought of using kryptonite to represent them (life crystals look a lot like the kryptonite shards from Superman Returns to me) but there were no good scenes :/

  • So its Armageddon meets Independence Day meets Planet of the Apes meets Alien. Cool!

  • Ooo, I remember that game...wonderful trailer, you did a great job bringing the game to life.

  • You did a great job adapting the story into visuals. This could totally be made into a movie now. If they put Spielburg in the Director's chair, I hope he makes it feel more like his classic films. Not like the ones he is making recently like transformers and eagle eye.(Well he produced those, but his name is still all over the advertisements.) Great Trailer.

  • The Dig would probably make a good movie.

  • Sweet.

  • wow! that is awesome.
