  • @JMYock my friend wouldnt consider this a rescue.. he had the same opportunity amputate or save it they saved it hes 16 now has had over 28 surgeries on it and wished they would have amputated

  • diabetes sucks - i got typ 2 - actually is everything fine ....

  • He only has 3 toes...

  • She has three toes

  • @vfire27 have both toe nails removed and then treated not to grow back. I may look bad, but its better then pain the rest of your life.

  • I don't think I'll ever eat again...

  • I'm never gunna stop trimming my nails now... ._.

  • Like you, when I compare what I have to deal with with what other people have to deal with, I'm doing A-Okay. Life is tough.

  • Like, excellent. Body integrity must be preserved at all costs, and (except for two toes) you folks succeeded very well. Way go go, babes!

  • @pantyflash Thank you

  • @pantyflash Thank you.

  • i don't even like the thought of amputations because no matter how bad the injuries on a limb, i just don't like the thought of someone having to go through the pain, and misery of losing a limb. Losing a limb is like losing a friend that you've known for such a long time. God...i can't imagine what these patients go through every day.

  • @the09conrad It is a very sad diagnosis people have to face. Smokers and Diabetics are at a high risk and should take early initiative to care for their health to avoid this

  • shocks!

  • Wow what a horrible infection. So glad the therapy worked and your Mum was able to keep her leg. I am sure that both the Doctors and God had an effect on the healing, they are NOT mutually exclusive! Science did its part, and God did His! Mum is healed. All is good. :) Thankx for sharing this story with us powerintention.

  • @cjscatcat Thank you for your comment. Billy Graham once discussed the comparison of whether it was the aspirin or God that helped his headache. If it was so blessed that this healing occured, why is it of such debate how it came through man? This was a wonderful lesson for our family on how everything worked together synergistically without debate both Doctors and God.

  • how is r mom doing now

  • @pecobill1234 She is doing fine and walking. Thank you !

  • this scares me because both of my big toe nails are ingrown and infected

  • @vfire27 you will need to have a footX-ray to make sure the bone is not infected. The problem is when the bone becomes infected this is why the ampuation occurs. If you catch this early you can get on the right antibiotics and treatment to avert this. I havent posted the video yet on how my moms left great toe was removed due to an ingrown toenail infection that went into the bone.

  • @JMYock and they say religious people are pushy

  • How did this happen?

  • I've been thinking;

what if, instead of removal in some cases, instead you poison the affected area?

Im serious. Think about it; make it concentrated, and very, very local in effect, you poison a tumor, and kill it, or you poison the bones if it has gone that far. Yes, no bone morrow equals no blood, but this isn't the case; you can regrow bone morror and you don't even need ALL of it, and it wont actually destroy the bones; think of bone morror transplants.

  • @cpmc1 that probably wouldnt work, poison it could make it even worse

  • Um....yeah! Hooray... :/

  • So i've had this ingrown toenail on my left foot for about 2 years now, it doens't hurt much at all, but I know I should get it fixed. I'm deathly affraid of the procedure that I might have to go through, but what do you think is the worse that can happen if let unchecked?

  • 0:09 "Yea yea, I'm a man, I can take it..."

    0:12 "FUCK THAT!!! D:"

    *Presses back button*

  • Beautiful story. Well done you for saving the life (or foot) of a lovely individual. I don't know anything about you but I am touch by this clip. Thnaks again.

  • JESUS CHRIST!

  • @JMYock Science has to catch up to what GOD knows. Go and watch the regrowth of body parts here on youtube. The scientists are saying that the cells are designed to regrow. Who do you think designed those cells in the first place? DNA and the biological machines that are cells were all designed by GOD. It is becoming more evident with every scientific discovery. Aloha

  • Dr. Joseph Jones, a ranking Confederate medical officer during the American Civil War, is quoted as follows, "I have frequently seen neglected wounds ... filled with maggots ... as far as my experience extends, these worms only destroy dead tissues, and do not injure specifically the well parts.

  • Ouch looks like it hurts! :(

  • My Mother has this now b/c of improperly clipping Ingrown nails.

  • @Guitarisma the thing is you have to catch it quickly because if infection spreads to the bone, that is when the amputation becomes necessary.

  • I saw a black foot in hospital medics wanted to amputate, patient refuse and omg foot got better

  • Stand back! There's science in this shit!

  • One day science will progress until amputation will also never performed.

Imagine being able to diagnose any problems with a simple scan, and treat them with the least invasive procedures imaginable :)

I think it's a good idea to try and prevent amputation... however sadly its still sometimes needed... so far as I know :|

  • @TheReasonWhyGuy and people would still thank God instead of science, but whatyagonnaman =(.

  • how can your poor mother live with only 3 toes?

i'd commit suicide rather than live with only 3 toes.

    your mother is brave.

  • @MrStickman1997 thats funny you would kill yourself instead of just living with 3 toes. Thats brave.

  • @MrStickman1997 When the value you put on your life, is diminished by the loss of a few toes... either your life is worth little, or you value your toes way too much :P

IMO, so long as I can live, and by live I mean do something... anything... then I want to live.

Do you believe in an afterlife?

  • And if thou ask them who created them, they will surely say: Allah. How then are they turned away? (87) And he saith: O my Lord! Lo! these are a folk who believe not. (88) Then bear with them (O Muhammad) and say: Peace. But they will come to know. (89)

  • WTF! You could clearly see the foot was infected to the bone, and that cannot heal! does ur mum has supapowaz?

  • @STFUbelgium the two toes that were infected to bone were removed.

  • @powerintention

    ohhhh

    Glad she made it. :)

  • maggot therapy has been an old and formerly quite widespread method to rid wounds from infectious and decaying matter. They used to do it to war times, when immediate medical treatment was not availiable all over. In the controled circumstance using sterile medical maggots I think it's one great rediscovery. Cheers to your mother & the little helpers ;o)

  • good to hear you got your leg!!

  • How did she lose those toes?

  • OMG OXYGEN THERAPY CAN HELP THIS HEAL QUICKER COME ON PEOPLE RESEARCH ITS REAL OXYGEN KEEPS US ALIVE AND CURES HIT ME FOR LINK

  • God is good

  • @RatchetSouth Yes he is !

  • @RatchetSouth You mean the doctors were good.

  • @blablaidontcarewhour The doctors involved were properly thanked and given proper credit for their work and dedication over 8 months. I have not yet posted the second foot they helped, I am still working on that presentation.

  • @RatchetSouth now Ah, OK. And now let's wake up and thank the professionals who actually made it happen :)

  • @JMYock I am a med student in my 7th year currently at Johns Hopkins. From looking at the picture I can tell you she had about a 2% chance of keeping that foot, I would say thats a miracle. Science told my mother my brother would die before he was 5,he died at 21, I would say thats a miracle. On a side note who the fuck are you to down someone's beliefs? Keep your lack of religion to yourself. An Atheist is only an Atheist until they die, you'll see... lmao your a hypocrite

  • @NANAKISONOFSETO thank you for your comments

  • 7th year??? I hope you are an MD/PhD student.......

  • @NANAKISONOFSETO Even if this event had 2% chance of occuring (of course I don't buy your percentage as it will mostly depend on the doctor's skills) it is no surprise that it did happen. It's a far better chance than being a millionaire.

I could go on about atheism but I wont, to each his own but you should keep it to yourself.

  • I have lost my father for this ..the infection was in his leg then spared to the rest of his body ..R.I.P ..i hope no one will have this that bad

  • @coolfoolugly many people have infections in the leg and the issue is getting it checked out before the infection sets into the bone. My condolences for your loss.

  • @coolfoolugly I am sorry to take so long to respond to you. I am sorry for your loss. I also hope no one will endure that as well.

  • Was maggot therapy considered?

  • @xjusticex2013x not in the case of having diabetic feet.

  • @xjusticex2013x Not in the case of having diabetic feet.

  • awesome you should b happy u till got ur leg, id b piss if they told me that it needed to b cut off

  • @JMYock I respect your beliefs. I call it a miracle because the treatment protocol literally came out of no where to save her leg within just a few hours of the doctors initially wanting to cut her below the knee because they did not believe the science of this protocol would work. My mother is ambulatory with both feet without need for prosthetic. If you ask any of the 56 docs at Mayo on her case, they also refer to this as a "miracle" ( unexpected positive development).

  • @powerintention Nice. The body healing itself.

  • How did u loose ur toes and stuff?

  • oh god oh god oh god oh god

  • my father is currently on the wound VAC for a wound caused by infection (diabetes/CKD) . The doctors are giving him 2 weeks to have a dramatic change in healing to consider a graft.

The healing in your mother's foot is incredible.

I emailed the celleration MIST people just now.

    We are in New Jersey.

    Any info is greatly appreciated.

  • @iamanubertuber I am sorry I took so long to respond. Please also visit the website for Progessive Doctors. They have an excellent wound healing treatment that I have personally used on other issues for my mom and I feel this will be an incredible thing for your dad as well in conjunction with his wound care protocol.

  • i watch these kind of video's to learn more about the the world medical science to help friend, family, and me aware about what can happen.

  • thats knarly. l0l

  • It's amazing how we can stop most things that years ago we couldn't crzy how far we have come from the stone age to now saving legs that might need amputated wow

  • @TheGeneralFish

Amazing that this method is actually quite old and is recently being brought back. Sometimes we just have to look to the past.

  • i love watching these videos and seeing that you went to the mayo clinic, where i live!!! go mayo clinic

  • May the Lord bless all of you who are sick, injured and in pain the lord does truly love u this is pain and with this rest to assred the lord is there and the devil go away from these people lord protect them Amen

  • GOD BLESS you and your Mom.

That is a very inspirational. Video

  • NWICE!!!

  • Its called medical technology and an understandging of how the body works.

  • glad that she didn't need amputation but that sux about loosing 2 toes...

  • this person is terribly lucky

  • Cool, she is lucky!

  • My dad made a vacuum boot for his dad and saved his foot..it was 1939..why don,t they do that now?My dad was an engineering student at the time and could fix anything..the boot was next to his casket..now you know the boot story. JC

  • why arn't we funding this extensively?!

  • wait she said below knee and not bologna, right? either way, yay for the saving of the leg

  • @LeftyAccidkid666 you know what was on my mind, like going to deli and cutting and cutting. So you are probably right. I had a freudian slip of the tongue because I often say to people how can they salami slice human beings like that.

  • that a horrific sight, wow im so amazed you saved that leg 0.0. Great Job hope she is doing better

  • Can this happen to any diabetic or just the ones that get careless...? :(

  • This was not due to diabetes. However anyone wih circulation probems, heart problems, blood clotting issues on coumadin/ warfarin. And yes ANYONE with age and diabetes. it is not contextualized to one disease.

  • I am completely floored. Oh my god there is a god

  • Thank God it worked.

  • omgggg

  • what therapy is it?

  • circulation boot therapy and celleration mist.

  • iN 1939 MY DAD MADE A VACUUM BOOT THAT SAVED HIS DADS FOOT..IS THAT BOOT THERAPY? JC

  • In the Vietnam War a similar vacuum therapy was made for wound care. it is similar because the goal is to increase circulation to speed healing to the area by oxygenating the blood .

  • Circulation boot therapy and celleration mist

  • imm happy for your mom i was shiveringwith fright (fobias)

  • i am happy for your mum =)

  • That's incredible. Poor woman, that must've been extremely painful.

  • Praise God. Thank you for putting this up! And that you had the determination to stay the course with the therapy.

  • @provie31at44

Please give the doctors some credit, they did all the work.

  • @themangodess the doctors were properly credited and thanked by the patient as well as given credit in the video.

  • @provie31at44

Praise doctors that came to the rescue, not God.

If they just prayed to God, her foot would be no more.

  • Amazing.

  • wow..that's amazing to not have to remove that leg

    Congratulations!

  • Wow, very interesting. I am glad she made a recovery. If I live to be old this may be an issue, as my circulation is pretty dire. As long as I have my hands I am ok.

  • im glad to hear that, i feel sorrry for your mom it must be really painful

  • O.O After this I need to drink a glass water!

  • thats very nice to hear :) glad it came out good in the end

  • This video shows twop toes removed due to Blue toe syndrome. Some experts say it is due to her Coumadin use others say a by product of diabetes narrowing the path ways of blood flow. This is to show that improving circulation can improve oxygen levels to facilitate healing.

  • So glad you stuck with her through that! :)

  • Hi. I am glad your mothers leg was saved, looked like a bad injury. You dont have to answer if you dont want to, but i was just interested to know how the injury occured?

  • It began with a blood clot on the second toe. This is also known as blue toe syndrome. This occurs with poor circulation, it can also occur when people are on Coumadin.

NOTE: that if I was told that this department existed at Mayo Clinic in 4/06 when it first occurred and she was hospitalized there. Her whole foot would have been saved. Always ask, do not assume that a hospital knows about all the resources it has. There may be an expert there that no one knows about.

  • What a recovery. Hope all is well.

  • Thank you and God Bless You.

  • May God bless you. I had doctors who would not take the time to try and save my leg. I didn't know anybetter and let them do it. If I could ohly take back those few moment of my life. Thanks for sharing this. May God Bless you all!
