Hi aunty, one more doubt: Is there any particular reason for you to say that 2% milk is better than whole milk, for making rasgullas? In my understanding whole milk has more fat. So won't using whole milk give more paneer content? This is just for my understanding, aunty. Really would appreciate your response. Thank you.
I am a bit confused with the recipe of chum chum and rasgulla.
please help me out.
If I am cooking rasgulla in a cooker, then how many whistles should i be hearing and on what flame?
also, if i am not using cooker for rasgullas, and cooking it in a pan, then according to chum chum recipe, i will use 5 + extra half cup water and let it cook for how many minutes in pan?
Thank you for sharing this wonderful recipe, aunty. I tried this for the first time with a lot of fear and anxiety. But it came out really good and very soft. But I think it should come little more round in shape, some of them were a bit flat in shape. 3 questions aunty: Can I prepare the rasgullas on the previous day of the party and refrigerate it? Will doing so reduce the softness of the rasgullas? How many days can we keep rasgullas refrigerated without losing the softness and the texture?
I do not have a pressure cooker and I am taking your advise by adding 1/2 a cup more water but should I cook the Rasgulla for 7 minutes or 15 minutes?
hey i've tried this recipe and it worked ;) your recipes are really good...while making cheese you said that you like to use 2% milk so i want to ask is that a special kind of milk???
Thanks a lot aunty!! I followed it step by step and what a surprise! I did make some yummy rasgulla. Your approach and guidance made it so easy for such a tricky recipe. Thanks a lot again!
Hi Mam, i tried this receipe, but the paneer ball is not doubled, but the ball is very soft..can you tell me how can i get paneer balls double like you... Thanks in advance
Thanks so much for the recipe! I followed these steps, but did not use a pressure cooker. I cooked them in a normal pot for 15 minutes. The rasgullas were soft right after cooking, but after a few hours they became really hard. Any idea on what might went wrong?
@Manjulaskitchen We also have the same problem like Malihasultana... they became really hard after few hours. But the thing is we are using Pressure Cooker...Can u please tell us what the problem is?? Thank You..

Thank you so much for your recipe! I wanted to learn this for so long and finally my mom told me that she saw you on YouTube. We are going to try this this weekend.
MajulaaJee, you are a great cook. One bengali tips that I learnt from my grandmom. She always put nakuldana inside the balls. It makes rasgullas much better. Nakuldanas are very small balls of sugar. I am not sure they are available outside bengal or not.
manjula jee your recipes are realy easy to make ...im not indian but love some of indian dishes ... and you r helping me so much trough your recipes... so thanks for that...by the way i made gajar ka halwa today and was realy good

Thanks Manjula aunt!!! I made Rasgulla right after watching this video, I am so happy! it came quiet well n so delicious, no breaking at all!! But it has cream color rather then pure white. what should I do for white color?
@rvkrsc It doesn't matter. Sometimes they're cream, no big deal. I mean, I'm no chef, but being in India I've eaten all kinds of rasgullas. Just my 2 cents. :)
perfect :o) ... 1st time preparing rasagulla and it turned perfect tasty one .. Yummy !!! tips to make smooth paneer: Use Chapathi stone and stick and have small amount of paneer and roll... it will become so smooth and transfer to vessel... continue with the rest of them, later knead all together and start making small balls... Hi Aunty. I made the rasgulla as per your recipe but they did not puff like yours. They were soft but didnot puffed. It was only 20-30% increase in the size. I gave 2 whistles as you did. Please suggest.

Hello Unti,ur recepies are awesome.i made rasogolla everything is ok but the outer part is soft but inner part is not soft it's thik. How can i solve this problem.Coould u pls give me some advice.
hello unti, your recipies are awesome.I made rasogolla.every thing is ok but the inner portion of my rasogolla r not soft, its thik.it's the first time i made thats why when i put my rasogolla on sugar serup the serup was not thick it was thin.I made it on pan with cover not in pressurecooker.Could you tell me unti why my rasogolla is not soft.I thing you r bengali so i use a bengali ward that it was khas-khase and difficult to cut by spoon.after chilling it was little bit soft but stil khaskhase.
hello unti,ur recipes are awesome.i made rasogolla.it had no problem .Everything is ok but the iner part is not soft.i guess u are bengali so i mension a bengali ward that it was khaskhase in innerportion. When i put the rasogolla on serup its not thik it's thin and i made it in pan with cover.i didn't use pressure cooker.pls unti could u pls tell me what's the reason.
Today I made Rasgullas at home..and they came out very delicious..they got doubled in size...and My husband and I loved it a lot...So, I'm not going to buy rasgullas anymore..I'm going to make it at home.... Thank you much Manjula aunty ji !
Tried for the first time. came out very nicely. Never thought we could make Bengali sweets at home. We used to pay Rs. 11 for one Rasgulla at KC Das. Now for around Rs. 40, we can make 12. good I saw your video
Tried rasgulla's for the first time and came out perfect. Great and simple recipe. I used vinegar instead of lemon juice and made small balls to avoid getting an undercooked ball inside.
I have been looking all over for a recipe to make the rasgulla recipe and this one was just perfect. I tried it just like you described and it turned exactly like in the video. You are such a loving woman thank you again for sharing these videos with us!
Hi aunty ,the method u have described here for rasgulla are good but in some websites its given that we should even mix besan in panner and than make balls to make rasgulla
hi manjula aunty... i tried rasgullas there was a single problem that my rasgulla does not increase its size as yours one in video plz suggest!!! thank you
hi aunty i tried ur rasagulla recipe very nice and i made according to ur instructions. everything came perfect . there s one problem in my rasagulla s when i saw rasagullas in the cooker it was very soft and when i kept for an hour it became hard and rasagullas are dry when we eat. can u tell what s the reason so that i can try next time
hello Manjula, it is nice to see your video. i tried your recipie of making rasgulla but found a problem. when i opened the pressure cooker all the rasgullas were spread into the cooker..what may be thae reason? please advice me
hi aunty, the recipe looks easy but do we really have to use pressure cooker?...how about some other utensil with a proper lid to cover it?...i am scared of using pressure cooker actually
I want to ask you that by adding lime juice,Rasgulla wont turn little bit of yellow???
Actually i made rasgulla last week but 1 -2 rasgulla was broken. Can you suggest something for this .The thing is I cooked for 20 mins not in the cooker but in the closed pot..and i dont have big pressure cooker like yours. Can you suggest something so it doesnt happen next time when i make..
I tried this last night and it turned out to be 'superb'.... cant thank you enough with words.. i love rasgulla and always wanted to make but was scared as it is a tricky dessert to make. But your last part - the tips on correcting the spoilt rasgulla was totally inspiring. Thanks so much!!
hi aunty i tried making rasgulla as you said.........they were round and not flattened but even after soaking on sugar syrup for one night they were tasting like panner with sugar coating....taste was more like panner............i used 5 cups of sugar in 4\12 cup water.......please tell me were i did mistake?
Hi Aunty, I am from Puerto Rico and love Indian food. There are not many indian restaurants here at all. I followed step by step but my rasgullas did not double in size and are round. Yours seem flat after you pressure cook it. They did not come out spongy either. What am i doing wrong?
I would love it if you can help. I want to impress my family with this delicious dessert.
Amazing Manjulaji, I like the last comments that we can never go wrong with this. always there is a backup recipe that also is awesome. I will try it and let you know. Thanks.
Thank you.

May be you used too much lemon juice to make paneer and that can dry the paneer.
