  • it was an "accident". he thought it was a taser...... DISMISSED.

-how the hell do you mistake a GUN for a taser? HOW? MURDER.

  • And again, corruption runs rampant

  • I promise to give $1,000,000 to anyone that can logically justify the actions of the evil cops.

  • String that fucken pig up, slow like.

  • {COWARD ASS COP!}

  • Why did they have him in cuffs in the first place?

  • @Sodiumreactor He was NOT in handcuffs. If he had allowed himself to be cuffed, he would be alive. But they were arresting him because he assaulted someone on the train, and then assaulted 2 officers.

  • @ssn708 Im still not clear on why the decision was made to use deadly force. He wasnt posing a threat to anyones life, as he was being held down on the ground.

  • @Sodiumreactor He already assaulted two officers, stood up when ordered to remain seated, placed his hands under his body (since he was not searched he could have had a gun for all they knew). Add to that the fact there had just been someone firing at cops on the BART an hour before who had not been found, the dozens of people becoming increasingly hostile, the 9-10 people on the platform encroaching on officer (3 of whom assaulted officers), they tried to cuff him, they had no time to play.

  • @ssn708 doesnt excuse a death sentence. He wasnt responsible for what people on the platform were doing. There are many times where shooting a suspect is justified. This isnt one of them.

  • @Sodiumreactor No, he was responsible for his own behavior, fighting on the train, assaulting 2 officers, and resisting arrest. Mehserle is responsible for his criminally negligent behavior, and he deserves prison time for it, but this was not a murder, he intended to tase. People on the platform contributed to the sense of panic, and caused Mehserle to not be able to spend more time than he had trying to cuff Grant. They had to get him under control so they could then focus on the hostile crowd

  • @ssn708 Im not going to argue about something neither one of us can change. Here is the bottom line. The guy they shot is dead. The cop that shot him lost his job and was convicted of Inv. manslaughter. He got two years minus time already served. End of story.

  • @Sodiumreactor No one is debating your facts. Grant is dead and Mehserle is in prison. The fact that this was accidental and not intentional is just that, proven fact. The whole thing is tragic and should have been avoided, but a dumb fuck cop met a dumb fuck career criminal and guess what? They both did something dumb. What a suprise.

  • @ssn708 Sounds like we agree ;)

  • @Sodiumreactor Wow, that is rare on here. I would never defend the cop, shooting an unarmed man is almost always indefensible. I say almost because I have seen plenty of videos where someone holds a cell phone or similar like a gun, and when a cop thinks someone is about to kill him, he is not going to "assess" the situation. A cops main responsibility is going to be to himself and making it home that night.

  • fuckin pig should get the death penalty!

  • The enemy of the constitution does not like having his self given power challenged. His hatred for freedom reveals itself every time. THERE WAS NO NEED AT THAT POINT TO EVEN PULL A GUN, TAZER, SPRAY OR HIS PENIS OUT. UNLESS WHICH IS WHAT HE DID USE IT. criminal and civil liability action. if john doe public pulls out a gun and shots anyone in the back in this manner. its off to prison for at the LEST involuntary man slaughter. i say let the pig do the time after all he did the crime.

  • I know for sure by watching that the two other cops didn't know what the fuck happened.

The shooter cop looked surprised that he shot him watch his body language.

  • the kettle boils til it whistles. If the authorities do not back off from their power trip then we are gonna go back 200 years to some very heavy shit

  • I dont think a cop would straight up execute a guy like that..he probably really thought it was his taser HOWEVER he f&cked up bad. he does deserve to obviously get punished for this.

  • Poor Guy! Looses his life for some crap police man!

  • Beyond sick.

  • still counts as man slaughter which has got to be10 years at least

  • @casinoscum He got two years.

  • @casinoscum No, manslaughter can be 2, 4, or 10 years by CA sentencing guidelines.

  • the police officer claims "He thought it was a taser"

  • wtf for real

  • @modelangel15 Actually, it was proven beyond contradiction that he intended to tase him. 8 other officers intended to tase and accidentally shot the suspect before this incident.

  • @modelangel15 He did think he had his taser. Proven fact.

  • fucking pigs

  • i know their not all bad

  • then that police officer is a dumb ass you can look at the difference between a real gun and a tazer

  • @policewatch4ppl No they're not, unfortunately they're being taught to be progressively more aggressive. This type of action is becoming far too prevalent in our country. If this is the instance I'm thinking of, they didn't administer any first aid to stop the bleeding. They literally let him bleed to death.
