This movie was on the Disney Channel about a week or two ago, and I sat through the whole movie from when it started, just to see if they played this song during the movie or not. Well after about 75-plus minutes (with the commercials, of course), the song started playing. Most, if not all, of it got played. I was so happy to hear Jenny Lewis on the tv, cause it's not everyday you get to hear or see her on tv.

We watched Bolt with my family while we were in Italy. I was feeling really uncomfortable because of my family, for they didn't quite believe me when I told them of a very intimate problem. Well OK, so they did'nt believe me at all, much less support me. So when I heard this, I just kinda burst into tears without crying. I really just wanted to go home into my small apartment and take a good breath alone. All ended well, tho, but this is an important song to me now :)

@OneTinyLaura It's about a person not an actual home. The phrase "Barking at the Moon" means to do something meaningless or pointless. The song means that the singer led an aimless life without any direction until she met the one. Now she's getting back 'home' to him.

In the movie, Bolt realizes his entire life was a lie. He loves Penny and wants to get back to her because her love is his home.
