You are only a year late in responding to my comment, but that's OK.
I have no disagreement with your post stating the Spirit of Jesus is the Spirit of God.
The only objection I would have is Eph 4:4 does not even mention Christ. You are reading into it what you already believe, which BTW happens to be correct.
In both 1 & 2 John, there is obviously a distinction between the father, and the son, the names themselves (father & son), obviously points to the identity of the Godhead itself, and hence shows that they are not the same person. In fact, another clear example that both the father and the son are not the same person is indicated in both Mark 1 and Matthew 3 in regards to Jesus' Baptism. If Jesus is the father, then who exactly was speaking from heaven during Jesus' baptism?
This is a very interesting point, but, interestingly enough, this is definitely a false presupposition, Jesus and the father are not the same person, rather, they are only the same in divinity, in other words, they are both equally God, and co-eternally divine as one another. The same is also said of the holy spirit as well.
Man, this guy???? the one that got whipped on the debates? Weak textual support and highly interpretive explanations, not even remotely close to proper exegesis.
You can have the Spirit of Christ in you. RIGHT (Rom.8:9 - 1Pet.1:11) So if God the Father is a Spirit & you can have the Spirit of Christ dwelling in you.
Conclusion> you can have the spirit of the Father who is a person/being/Deity and the Spirit of Christ who is a person/being/Deity. That is exactly what 1John 2:23 says. That is TWO!
This scripture is talkin about Jesus and reveals that He is the Father also,,,
By BRINGING MANY SONS TO GLORY
(Heb 2:10 KJV) "For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings."
Saying he who ackknowledeth the Son recognises the Father doesn't mean the Father is the Son. it simply means if you aknowledge Jesus you acknowledge the Father-not that they are the same person. Yet they are one God in three persons-rather three persons in one God. It's a mystery-but see what you say from about 1.00 to 1.07. It's important you recognise the statement you make.
Dude,,,, where did u ever hear that the Father is a man??? thats false doctrine man,,,get that junk out of u ,,,u want truth ? go to scripture,,, look:
(Num 23:19 KJV) "GOD IS NOT A MAN, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?"
WELL WHAT IS GOD?
(John 4:24 KJV) "God is a SPIRIT, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth
@Elizabeth51228 well, i believe that the bible is true. that there is only one God , and that that One God was manifested or revealed in the flesh. So that makes Jesus the Father. i am just a bible believer and i dont claim any title or religion that i am.
@ronhanish wow... praise God. i misunderstood. i thought you are muslim or Jehovah's witness who don't believe Jesus. num 23:19 "God is not a man that he should lie" Yes but Jesus is not liar, he is a sinless man. i really believe that Jesus is God for in Him Dwelt all the fullness of Godhead bodily. Col. 1:9. Jesus is the father of Eternity Isaiah 9:6. thank you my brother for your comments. i love you in the name of Jesus.
Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counseller, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 1:1-5 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Exactly. Jesus Christ IS the Son (the Word) in the Flesh and IS the Father in the Holy Spirit. Christians who ABIDE IN (do) the word of God - the doctrine of Christ. Have both the Father (the Holy Spirit) AND The Son - the truth in the Word. AMEN!!!!!!!
The most beautiful part is God gave us the Word that anyone that would believe (be born again) would be SAVED (as Jesus Christ did die for our sins). AMEN!!!
Jesus is and always was Good.

Then why was Christ praying to the Father in the garden?
Why does Christ say "Do not call me good because no one is good except the Father.
Why would Christ tell us that when He leaves another will come (Comforter)

Your logic is flawed. How many demons were in the man called legion? Many! (Mark 5:13)
Demons are spirits RIGHT?
God is Spirit. (John 4:24) RIGHT

HERETIC!!!!! Nothing but Sabellianism. Nothing new. Christians have been fighting this heresy since the early 3rd century.

False teaching. Jesus is the Son of God. Holy Trinity: Father, Son (Jesus), & Holy Spirit.
