楼下已经有人说了，此曲的主题不是凄凉悲伤，而是道家的天人合一­，随遇而安。曲子取二泉映月的名字，也是这个道理。第一次听这个­曲子的时候是在上小学的时候，半导体里放，当时虽然不懂音乐，但­就觉得这曲子特别好听，但绝无悲伤之感。即使到现在三十多岁了，­也还是挺不出悲伤的感觉。由此可见阿炳艺术趣味的境界是很高的，­中国古典音乐讲究哀而不伤，乐而不淫。这个二泉映月纯属天籁，小­泽征尔跪的不是伤感，跪的就是这种豁达豁圆通，以苦为乐，或者说­无苦无乐的境界。这是日本音乐,和其它艺术品种，从来都欠缺的。­如果你听过小泽指挥的交响乐，明显霸气外露。或者你读读日本所有­近代作家的代表作，从川端康成到村上春树，都是走哀伤一路，这以­中国古代艺术的标准看，就是落了下乘。至于很多人听二泉映月听出­的都是眼泪，那很大程度是因为二胡这种乐器的音色本身比较凄凉，­所谓如诉如泣，如怨如慕。你带着轻松的心情，在二泉边，望着水天­中的明月，再听一听，想必会有别样的感觉。

这确实是原版,阿炳最后的演奏, 当时第一次录音准备不足,效果也不是很好, 后来再想录制的时候 阿炳已经去世, 非常可惜. 那盘磁带因为多次放音, 音质又有损失, 现在已经彻底封存. 现在能听到的不知道是什么时候翻录的了.

You hear the sad reminiscense, the powerlessness against fate, the angst in life, and maybe even the frailty of the body. Yet at the end there is fight - the never-say-uncle to fate.  This origingal is the best. I have not heard anyone else capture this aspect of the song - the strength of a human spirit.
