why the hell don't we say any games living to it's technical and graphical potential on the wii? we just saw the technical potential here and we se the realistic graphical potential on Conduit 2 or Golden Eye and cartoony graphics on WS:R and yet we still get crap like Busy Scissors. even WS:R felt a bit restricted with the movement

Wii motion plus is exactly the same as playstation move, someone i know said that the move was better and said did you see the tech demo, the move's tech demo's sensitivity was the exact same as this, so the move will end up being like the wiimote with motion plus and not any better, maybe even worse considering its just an accesory and not a main controller like the wii mote and also Nintendo's experience is probably better then the Move's.
It's ridiculous that third parties have barely support the Motionplus. They seem completely incompetent about the Wii market (the biggest gaming market) and just release shovelware instead.
Wow I'm not a fanboy I own a PS3 and a Wii and I don't plan on buying Move, but this is 100% not 1:1. Whether Sony' can do 1:1 we shall see, but from it's tech demos it's looking very promising. I do own a Wii and my number 1 flaw for it is that I always feel as if the cursor is delayed. This video further proves my point that M+ doesn't correct this. Just look at his hand movements and look at the screen and you WILL see a slight delay between the actions.

Do any of you uninformed people know what this guys even talking about?. His demonstrating a software tool to help developers create games that make use of the new Motion-plus accessory. But this is by no means 1:1 as every game that makes use of Motion-plus will still have noticeable lag.
The PS Move has no noticeable lag with traditional games e.g FPS & TPS games, but there'll be noticeable lag in augmented reality games (the Wii can't do augmented reality) BUT!....
Someone should have shown this to Sony before their motion controller demo at E3 09.

Sony's Move is capable of tracking the real time position of the remote control in relation to the real environment, Motion Plus is only able to recognize different types of "movements" you can tell that the Wii isn't tracking the position of the controller rather it is tracking how the controller moves, and therefore you notice how the guy has to reset the demo after each movement. You can say its 1:1 and it is in terms of tracking motion, but not real time position which is what Sony has.
Great, now where are the darn games. I hope that Nintendo has some brains to get this level of 1:1 tracking in Red Steel 2 or the Wii is going on ebay.

actually, the ball makes it worse, because unlike mocapping, you are running everything in real time reliant on the ball, and so you lose the tracking the second the camera looses sight of the dildo, that means, lighting conditions cold effect gameplay, moving the dildo off camera, behind your back, partially covering it, etc, will all fuck it up
Not necessarily. The moment the ball is hidden from the cam, thats when aproximation routines step in to calculate the last position, orientation, speed and direction. That way the controller can be represented almost perfectly without direct contact to the camera.
But thats the exact same idea behind the Wii motion plus.
Mind if i correct you? Games run at 1280x720 on ps3. for its price, the wii is the best console around. xbox 360 and ps3 are more for the hardcore gamers. wii is meant to be unexpensive. The wii could be well made into a full HD supportive console, but then it would double the price.

Wii motion plus is great (still feels a little delay between motions), but the sony new tracking technology with PS3 is absolutely the most impressive motion sensor I have seen so far, it's perfectly accurate.

no there are differences in the two technologies,
it starts with the pointer function.
Also, as far as I have seen, Move works a lot with the eyetoy camera together, not as much with the acceloration sensors like the wiimote

actually, the ball makes it worse, because unlike mocapping, you are running everything in real time reliant on the ball, and so you lose the tracking the second the camera looses sight of the dildo, that means, lighting conditions cold effect gameplay, moving the dildo off camera, behind your back, partially covering it, etc, will all fuck it up

Not necessarily. The moment the ball is hidden from the cam, thats when aproximation routines step in to calculate the last position, orientation, speed and direction. That way the controller can be represented almost perfectly without direct contact to the camera.
But thats the exact same idea behind the Wii motion plus.

Mind if i correct you? Games run at 1280x720 on ps3. for its price, the wii is the best console around. xbox 360 and ps3 are more for the hardcore gamers. wii is meant to be unexpensive. The wii could be well made into a full HD supportive console, but then it would double the price.

Wii motion plus is great (still feels a little delay between motions), but the sony new tracking technology with PS3 is absolutely the most impressive motion sensor I have seen so far, it's perfectly accurate.

for anyone complaining about a delay in the motion,try considering this: the delay is BARELY noticeable and it doesn't hinder gaming at all. also, a video game character will not always be so strong that he/she can swing a sword super fast without meeting any AIR RESISTANCE,even with a tiny delay i find the motion plus very realistic

Too bad that MEMS technology did exist in 2006 except at ridiculously high prices. The fact that the Wii Motion+ is as small as it is and as cheap as it is is solely because of advancements in the field of MEMS.
I don't see you complaining about Sony's Motion controller or the natal, which will probably cost upwards of 100 dollars each.
