Pure chance that I spotted this - you should really include the songwriter's name too. This is a Tom Waits cover. Waits fans aren't going to find it when Waits' name isn't even in the tags. Nice version though. I usually HATE covers where the siger tries to imitate Waits' voice, but here it works passably.
I'd say Frank Flatley didn't know what was going on downstairs when he heard this song being sung! Great to see two such gifted musicians performing side by side. I missed an historical night by all accounts.
Can anyone post a live version of 'something to give' on youtube? Conneely is a legend!
