PES is a lot better than FIFA on wii, I have PES 08 and FIFA 12 on my wii and I usually play PES...

Not sure about the gamecube controller but the wii controller - not the usual one - the one thats like a PS controller is great... (so my son says!)

You should play against a better team, or use a terrible team.

Also, you can have a better control over where to pass the ball by using the Wiimote and nunchuck.
