  • omg the bluetooth feature is goin to be the best!!!! finally i can send and receive pics and music!! thankyou apple!

  • ur retarded, just disconnect ur computer from the internet and u can do watever u want with it.

  • You are right, dont download it. i myself downloaded it and installed it on my ipod touch, and it had alot of problems. i called apple technical support and they told me that it is currently in beta for now, its not very stable. the technical support gave me staps to install 2.2.1 firmware for now. they said i had to force my ipod to recover mode. so far my ipod had a unknown error on all of my usb ports on my laptop, from installing the 2.2.1 firmware.

  • also has shake to shuffle :)

  • is it just me or does apple seem to copy what is out in the jail break scene :S?

  • lol that is soo true xD

  • tried that, says an error with the restore =|

  • Download QuickPwn from the iphone dev team (google iphone dev team)

    1) open itunes

    2) get iphone in DFU mode

    3) select restore iphone (using the original 2.2.1 firmware, not the custom one)

    4) let iphone do the restart process until you get ERROR 1013

    5) close itunes

    6) open quickpwn. you will get a message saying to hold power and home for 15 seconds. do it exactly like that hold the power and home for 15 secs.

    7) turn on iphone

    8) open itunes and BINGO iphone is recognize and activated

  • no, I got it already, thanks anyways lol I use quickfreedom :D

  • by that I mean it wont let me restore back and I wanna go back to 2.2.1 lol

  • Force it into DFU mode, google it if dont know how, and then plug it into the computer. Itunes will recognize it and tell you it needs restoring, from there restore it to 2.2.1

  • eh I got it a few days ago, how do I got back? lmfaoo

  • It doesn't make it bricked. You have to disconnect from the internet when you update

  • Insted of Disconnecting from the internet you can just click the "X" in iTunes when it says "Connecting To iTunes Store".

  • you can copy and paste on ANY TEXT even stuff you didnt type! :)

  • first

  • Actually iPod Touch 2G's have Bluetooth chip built in and its supposed to be unlocked wih the 3.0 update!

  • that doesnt make any sense.

why would Apple spend all of the money to ut it in and develop the software for it to never be used and hidden in a iPod?

  • its true. if you watch a video of someone with an ipod touch 2g with 3.0 OS under settings they have a "bluetooth" settings for head sets.

  • I don't know just google it it's all there.

But only the 2G iPod Touch has the bluetooth not the 1G

  • OH and i found out it's for the Nike thing that the 2G uses.

  • so it actually does have built in bluetooth?

    or

just a wireless infared type of communications?

  • well, 3G users have. other iphone devices dont support this feature, also MMS

  • It actually has a Bluetooth chip built in.

It was put in for the Nike thing. But it's supposed to be fully unlocked for the 3.0 software for that p2p thing.
