There is a musical structure to dubstep. Intro, buildup, the drop, the beat down, 2nd drop and the outtro. There are several variations as well.

If someone had never heard traditional popular music before, they wouldn't understand why part of the song repeats several times. We of course know it's the chorus and like it.
