But still, a Pocahontas story is a useful reminder in our current capitalist society, that values profit over sustainability.

Not only was avatar visually stunning, it was a wake up call to our behavior towards the world and the environment.

The hurt locker was pretty much saying: hey, join the army, will you?? At least that's the final message I took from the final scene.

They were both good movies, but, to me, avatar was better because of the social context.
