    Fi: Not until I dance!

  • thumbs up if you think Levias has a beutiful voice

  • I'm starting to think the actual legend of princess zelda is a religion...

  • fail 0:44

  • The best part of any zelda game is the cutscences

  • Demise's spirit cursed this video.

  • I fucking came when I heard the resemblance between this song and the original theme.

  • 0:56

  • 0:44, so Link can hear the jingle... interesting.

  • He looks so happy and peaceful. I'd like to lie down on a huge flying whale too.

  • 0:44 dun-duN-DUN-------oh?

    best part of the game

  • Skyward Sword: Link fullfilling his destiny as a hero, in "the sky".

Ocarina of Time: Link fullfilling his destiny as the saviour of Hyrule, is sent back in "the sky".

  • Fi is soooo beautiful *__*

  • 0:30 - "OH SHIZ I'M GONNA FALL"

    0:38 - "Ahh pretty music =v= "

...You sure adjust quickly, don't you Link? XD

  • Now I want to hear them sing the Halo theme song.

  • When Link tries to grab the harp Fi goes nope at 1:18 LOL

  • must... resist... SPOILERS!! >X(

  • If you quickly press 0:47 at around 1:40, the dragons aren't statisfied with doing this great song just once. :D

  • 25 years in one song :')

  • Damn it people, it's not goosebumps, it's GROOSEBUMPS!

  • "That old song opens the door to a great trial"

Well at least we've already done all the Silent Real-

    ...crap.

  • @MrFitzonic

my thoughts exactly, but you have to admit that some of the guardians dont look half bad:/

  • Anybody see the Wind Fish in that or a reference to Link's Awakening?

  • Definitely one of the best parts of the entire game!

Always sends chills down my spine, gives me goosebumps, and puts a huge nostalgic smile on my face!

  • This song utterly stunned me when I was at that scene. It made me fall in love with the game.

  • simplemente amo esta parte es lo mejor que eh visto de TOZSS

  • when i was playong and the song stopped i thought that ghirahim will come out of nowhere i was like uh oh x)

  • when i first saw this scene when it didnt finish the doot thing i thought the harp was stolen and i freaked out a bit XD

  • I swear, when I got here and it went DOOT DOOT DOO-- and cut off, I was like, "You son of bitch, I just busted my ass to get here I swear if I have to do any more backtracking and ridiculous quests to finish this song, heads will roll."

  • I just realized that unless Lanayru was wearing a timeshift stone, he would still be a pile of bones during this cutscene.

    NINTENDO LOGIC.

  • @ForeverKingdomHearts actually... no. he died because some kind of disease, but link helped him

  • @7000Merlin Ah, I see your point.

  • @ForeverKingdomHearts Spoiler alert: Link gave him fruit from the tree of life, curing the disease which caused him to die in the first place

  • @thedarkwulf Spoiler alert: I beat the game at least a month ago, so I don't need to be warned about spoilers ;) But yes, I understand what you're coming from. Link saved Lanayru in the past so he now lives in the present. I gotcha ;D

  • @ForeverKingdomHearts but he had that healing fruit or w.e, so isnt he supposed to be healed/alive. Link was able to change his fate.

  • Anyone else have had no idea that the song would turn out to sounds like THAT?

  • @redquoter You might be thinking of it the wrong way. The song isn't split into 4 different sections, the dragons and Levias are singing you their specific parts (Faron is Soprano, Eldin is Alto, Lanayru is Tenor, and Levias is Bass, though all of them have pretty deep voices). You put the parts together and you get something that sounds pretty close to that, actually.

  • Am I the only one who thinks this might be THE best Zelda cutscene ever?

It's just so beautiful and magical and brings tears to my eyes.... :')

  • okay just to be clear when you have 3 elemental dragons a flying whale, and can defeat millions of enemies with just simple weapons and get a cute blonde girl in the end you are the definition of baddas

  • I love Nintendo.

Skyward Sword is their 25th anniversary game for Zelda. You befriend dragons, assist the goddess as said in the top comments, and you learn a song which is bloody meta.

"The song of the hero". This whole quest was a tribute to the Zelda series, given it's basically the LoZ theme song. Nintendo gave the player the opportunity, in a way, to have Link create the legacy of the series through their actions. This quest made me appreciate all the other Links even more.

  • GOD DAM I LOVE THIS GAME

GOD DAM IT IM IN LOVE WITH LINK

DAM IT WHY AINT YOU REAL!!!!

  • 1:16 *Reaches for harp* Fi: Peek-a-boo master!

  • The first time I played trough this part my body shivered, got goose bumps, and totally felt revitalized. I almost cried for real, no kidding.

  • @rurounirgc I was crying aswell :)

  • @rurounirgc ME TOOO! i reached it today and i got goosebumps, although every cutscene involving getting a new song i got goosebumps but this one was the best!

  • I ALWAYS KNEW ZELDA THEME WAS CALLING FOR A HERO I JUST KNEW IT!!!!!!! IT'S ABOUT TIME TO FEEL PROUD FOR BEING A ZELDA FAN AND GAMER YEAH!!!!!!!

  • @trackgril175 Not gonna lie in my first playthrough I thought something terrible was going to happen right then. And then I was pleasantly surprised.

  • There's an indescribable itch that only Zelda can scratch, not even Skyrim could do it for me.

  • Fi souldve kissed him!!!

  • @katsumiizumi I would've fanboy squealed if that happened.

  • @katsumiizumi Fi cant show any human feelings. She was only able to do that in the end of the game.

  • @hermitsword i know :( how unfortunate

  • Oh my goodness. This was probably one of the most SERIOUS cutscenes in the entire game!

  • Wait, shouldn't lanayru(the thunder dragon)be dead because it was the timeshift stone that was keeping him alive right

  • @bessteophiotaurus213 no, his skeleton is only there before you heal him (implying his sickness killed him). once you heal him, his skeleton is no longer there in the present, implying he's still alive.

  • It took me forever to figure out that the Song of the Hero's melody was all four parts at once, rather than them one after another. I remember being like, "Why can I only hear Faron's part?"

  • the dragons sounds like trololo song

  • Time shift stone* XD

  • how was the thunder dragon there with no time shit stone? also if u turn off the stone u see his skeleton on the ground witch means hes dead, but when u feed him fruit, and turn it off, hes not thier dead, so basicaly hes still alive after many years he goes to you? but if u kill demise at the end in the past, does that mean every thing never happened? link didnt have to do that cus demise is dead? Hmm now i think im just saying random shit XD Epic song tho

  • @ItsThatMarioKid1 its proably that he runs on acient fiower like scrapper

  • @ItsThatMarioKid1 I did wonder about that. It's a huge paradox. Since demise is dead in the past, then everything in the present never needed to happen. paradox. but ehh, it's zelda time physics. It's the universe where apparently after OoT, there are 3 different timelines because of all the time hopping. zelda time travel rules are different than our own.

  • @Mcorax88 But if none of the stuff in the present happened, Link wouldn't have been able to go back in time and kill Demise. Ugh, time is confusing...

  • Anybody notice the mistake?

The Thunder Dragon is dead by the time of Skyward sword. You can only see or talk to him while in the past using Timeshift stones, yet he can somehow live without them...

  • @8redcoins hes alive cus when u feed him the fruit, he ends up not dieing.

  • @8redcoins I think the dragons were only a vision in this scene, just like the loftwings weren't actually there inside the isle of songs when you learn Farore's courage, Nayru's wisdom and Din's power. Link tends to trip out when he learns new songs :)

  • @8redcoins You heal him in the past and this changes the future so that he is now alive in your present.

  • @8redcoins the thunder dragon says that they(the dragons) are immortal, but since he was sick, he turned to skeleton(but was still alive, as evidenced by the glowing eyes). Once he was fed the fruit, he got better, and thus was able to live again fully.

  • Was I the only one who kinda laughed when you hear the "da da duuum" music, but then it cuts short? I was like Wtf when that happened

  • @SPzenku44 I though the game froze when I saw that part LOL

  • @Glentina428 I thought the game was trolling me

  • I spent an hour today piecing the parts together by staggering the play buttons. It works. The different parts do combine to make this. You're welcome.

  • The one complaint... the ONE complaint... of this entire game, this masterpiece of gaming experience... 1:42

  • BEST CUTSCENE EVER!!!

  • @MegaAeroforce1

IKR?!?! I also really like the second gate of time scene and the scene where groose and link are falling xD

  • Lol bei 0:46 Datada(Musik).... bam weg die Harfe :D

  • 0:47 made me lol

  • Let's recap: You just went on a quest that you thought would involve finding three hidden areas. Instead, you go searching for living music notes in a flooded woodland area, navigate through an enemy-infested volcano WITH NO WEAPONS, and travel through a time-shifting desert that concludes with you going back in time to grow produce. And yet, this cutscene makes it all worth it in the end.

  • @HappyPerson43 all that sounds epic to me, this is just the SWEET SWEET delicious icing on the cake.

  • @HappyPerson43

i cant agree with you more on the NO WEAPONS PART! i died like 30 times cause i couldnt fight and i would be pissed if i had to go through a trial of finding the notes >:(

  • @HappyPerson43 Ah, so so true. Totally unexpected and Awesome.

Also, random dragons unexpected to make it that much more epic.

  • I'm just patiently waiting for an extended version the of the dragon theme

  • am i the only one that actually noticed that this is the main theme of the series sort of?

  • @Excalibur5k Nope. I caught that too. =)

  • nintendo will have to work much harder to make that will top this one (with OoT)

because this game is so good (with OoT)

  • I love this game to death, best Zelda ever, but I don't understand one thing...why on earth do I have to collect the song of the hero parts to prove im worthy of the triforce then go through a dungeon to get the triforce?! I do like the dungeon, but I felt it was very unnecessary...I walked in there and I was like, big empty room with a treasure chest in the middle? it couldn't be that easy...*open chest* YOU GOT A MAAAAP~ ...son of a biscuit...i totally saw this coming

  • I got chills both times I saw this part! (I've seen it twice while playing through the normal mode and Hero Mode, not counting here.) Definitely one of the best moments in the game. <3

  • Zelda5298 Fi remember it:)

  • Hmm maybe the Windfish has some relation to Levias...

  • 0:46 This game it's full of surprises you know

  • another fucking trial >:(

  • looks like oppa xD

  • It's true that Levias reminds me of the Windfish....but he also reminds me of Sin from FFX

  • @gongjooyoo me too :D

  • I prefer it when Levias and the dragons are singing it. It sounds so haunting...

  • I so love Levias. He's like the best ancient guardian ever in Zelda games. Love hanging out with him.

  • One of the best moments in this game!!

  • 0:45 - DA DA DA....! What the?!

  • Zelda is such and amazing franchise, I hope it lives on forever :')

  • 0:39 Skyward Sword Link is the cutest Link ever ;A;

  • @XxNightmareLOVE Wow about time someone thinks SS Link is one of the cutest Links EVER!!! :DDD When I look at SS Link, he ACTUALLY remind me of someone in real life cause by his facial expression, he looks real imo!

  • Damn link got a great memory. How does he renember all of the songs he learned?XD

  • This was one of my top five favorite parts of Skyward Sword, and I had a LOT of favorite parts.

  • Hahaha reminds me of Metroid when Levias starts singing.

  • @SoraXKokiri I said the same exact thing when I first heard it.

  • This song NEEDS to be longer!

  • @MetallicPoison no it NEEDS TO BE WAY WAY LONGER

  • This reminds me of metroid prime for some reason

  • Levias looks liek the Wind Fish :3

  • @Dewtzel That's cause he is one. :D

  • Not only did the batteries on the harp die but Link is one some serious drugs. But yeah, from the series saddest moment to one of the most epic moment.

  • levias looks like a monster in monster huter games

  • So, two of the most popular Zelda songs actually got a story meaning in this game. That's pretty damn cool from Nintendo, way too go.

  • @ImKevin15 two?

  • One of the most beautiful moments in the history of gaming

  • Best Zelda ever!!!

  • I don't know why I love 1:18 so much. But there should be some sort of fanart adaption of that.

  • @UltimateShipperAnnie does it remind you of spiderman?

  • I love how he looks so happy, not a forced animated happy like in the other games, but a completely natural cheerfulness.

  • I like how 720p isn't really 720p. Sure doesn't look like anything Dolphin would record.

  • @theactionman007 This is a stream, not an emulation.

  • Every time I see Levias I think of the Windfish for some reason

  • It would have been awesome to have an Inside Levias dungeon

  • I really wish they had made a full version of the 3 Dragons singing that song. It would be been amazing.

  • Sounds like one of the Mystics in Dark Crystal

  • I want the full version of the song!(I mean this version, not the regular main theme)

  • Is it just me or does the Song of the Hero NOT sound like the sum of its parts? Where's Levias' bit?

  • @CanadaRedBear maybe he was summoning the dragons ,just a theory.

  • @CanadaRedBear Maybe Levis was pulling his leg like "Shit, cant remember a single damn note of that song. Just gotta make something up and hope those dragons actually remember something"

  • @CanadaRedBear I think all the parts are played at the same time, like a counter melody type thing

  • @CanadaRedBear You're right. I listened to the different parts on Youtube again and I can only figure out Faron's part.

I wonder why you have to find all dragons when only one dragon gives you a part you can hear in the full Song of Hero melody. :D

  • @preiselbaer93 I studied all the parts and made sheet music out of what I got. The result when you stagger the sheets on top of each other and spread out the notes and change the instruments, is in fact the Song of the Hero. Heard at starting at 1:02

  • @Roflmaokanker You're right! If you listen to every single voice you can't really hear out the Song of Hero but I tried it with Audacity and played every voice at the same time. It's really the Song of Hero.. Now it's fine that you have to search all parts of the song. :D

  • @CanadaRedBear who cares, the dragons sing nice, and together it makes the zelda theme.

  • Awesome :D

  • One word: EPIC.

    Thank you, Kondo.

  • :59 trippin balls

  • Pity we don't see much more of Levias. I really like him.

  • @bellboy64 every time i look at him hes looks like a pokemon

  • @bellboy64 Isn't Levias the Whale-Fish in Link's Awakening?

  • Ba-bum-bum-- Huh?

    OHSHI-

The game's amazing at these lighthearted, comical moments.
