I learned a trick a bit ago, which you may know. Take a hose and run the fog through a trash can with ice in it. That will cool the fog and it will stay low instead of float away.
@getwidth I've been watching several videos here on YouTube where people are trying to show the many different methods they have used to do the fog chilling effect that you are referring to. I'd like to try some form of that sometime. I'd really like to experiment with some dry ice sometime! I'd also like to look into getting a haze machine to keep a constant hazy atmosphere going all night long.
