It is completely ridiculous to enforce the US-Canadian border. No two countries in the world are more similar or have a more symbiotic relationship. We should do like Continental Europe: Open borders and free movement of people to live and work in each other's country. It would do nothing but boost the economies of both countries.
@HepburnFlicks Yeah, and Europe is getting shitter. France is a third world country, England was SHARIAH LAW, Ireland looks like Africa, and Germany looks like a dump.
I'm surpised this hasn't more views 0_0 , maybe because nobody is interested in the daily life of people living near a border, who have to suffer from an excessive border protection.
personnaly, I live near the german border on the french side, and I have to say that I crossed the border (and many others in the EU) like 1000 times and never had to stop at some border station to justify/pay anything, which almost made me forget that I'm going to another country

This is so sad. Europe has torn down its borders while america is strengthening them. This is the 21st century!!! Wake up america!!

A country is defined by its borders.
