  • that 3h talk time is a deal breaker, no thanks. Really wanted to like it.

  • The choppy web browsing was a deal breaker 4me. Nice phone but the skyrockets smoother w/a gorgeous screen

  • when it gets ICS.. we'll talk

  • 4.5'' crap...... my iphone 4s kills this phone.

  • @robsat66 nah, it doesnt

  • Wow pinch yo zoom sucks on this device. Why can't oems realize this? they keep putting out phones that lag.

  • whako video webcam chat slow. cuz am deaf. i not going buy it. ha ha

  • is there a way to get swype on this phone? i'm so used to it even though i just started using a phone with it, lol.. great review btw, i may get this phone(hoping it goes on sale for free/1penny for christmas :P )

  • What are you Lg cock sucker

  • This another peace of junk by Lg like Lg thrill same s##t

  • @raymond5068 On gsmarena the LG Nitro HD has an avg. score of 8.6 (very high) and the LG Thrill 4G has an avg. score of 8.1. In other words, you're an idiot so stfu. Oh, and it's spelled "piece", not "peace", ya dweeby little illiterate. peace out! :)

  • @raymond5068 no this phone has a bigger screen better resolution, better processor, more RAM, and its not a 3D phone.

  • @mobileburn, Haha, that means it has one gig. Think about it. 783 is larger than 768. Some of the RAM is reserved for the GPU. :P

  • Walking in an orgy wonderland ad played.

  • After the G2X experience, No more LG for me.

  • I almost threw up while watching this

  • This is the ugliest userinterface of any phone on the planet

  • Front 242 . wow, this brings back memories of the late 80's

  • looks Kewl!

  • That's it.........im getting this phone.

  • I don't like that the search has been integrated in to the menu button. Long pressing menu brings up the keyboard, or gets rid of it, on a regular Android phone. I actually use this quite a lot, so this would really bother me.

  • @mobileburn But the specs everywhere say 1 GB of RAM.... The only thing I've noticed different in some LG Nitro videos is that some people say the Battery is 17xx mAh while others say 1830 mAh

  • @PepsiLoverx32 The battery reports minimum size (1770mAh) as well as "typical" size (1830mAh). Motorola often does the same on its batteries.

  • lol Shaq gets piggyback from tiny girlfriend.

  • I think that LG has the ugliest and most boring Android skin.

  • if you root this or just get a launcher this will be better cause lg ui sucks ass

  • The UI is slow and choppy due to its p.o.s snapdragon processor. All HTC phones suck ass juice because of qualcomms shitty s.o.c's

  • as usual, a fantastic review from Michael. easily the best phone reviewer on the net.

  • nice and detale..

    good review..

  • LG should use Tegra 3 CPU

  • @looping1990 once its released they might. Only droid using it right now is Asus Transformer Prime

  • @mobileburn why are all the reviewers and tech websites say that this has a gig of ram. I think what you see are the usable ram for applications. Not the full ram for graphics, phone system etc.

  • My Galaxy Note puts this phone to shame, 1280/800 with a 5.3 inch screen. Try again LG

  • @mrjlwilliams How do you cope with the size of the Note?

  • @moochincrawdad Remember, the Galaxy Note is very thin, so the size is not what you think it would be like. It is just a little bit wide for a phone, but other than that..it is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO NICE.

  • 20 sec intro, 15 secs of unboxing, 1:43 secs of hard and then 13 mins on how to use a android 2.3.5 phone lol

  • not fair all these new NON-FLAGSHIP phones have a HD resolution display and Samsung left their Galaxy S II users (like me!) in hot water with basic 400x800 resolution that isnt good enought for its 4.5 inch screen!

  • @PrincessOTFH u got Amoled :)

  • why does LG always copy Samsung! this look like the Galaxy Nexus!

  • @PrincessOTFH ha? are you blind. this is nothing like the galaxy nexus. LOL

  • @mobileburn Are you sure? The specs on Bell Canada's website of the LG Optimus LTE (same phone, just original name) states that it has a gig of RAM. bell.ca/Mobility/Products/LG_Optimus_4G_LTE/Specifications.tab

  • Like always Michael - very great review, you give fantastic details on all of your reviews.

  • Looks like a nice little phone. Browsing, yes, did seem a little buggy and slow, though. Awesome review as always Michael.

  • Doesn't it have a gig of RAM?

  • @longstar741 Duh, for a minute or two I thought it did have 1GB. But I was looking at the wrong device (not a problem many people could have). I just ran two different sysinfo apps on the Nitro HD and both reported 783MB max and 123MB available. If there's a gig in there, LG is doing something funky with it.

  • @mobileburn My Motorola Atrix says the same thing, and It's also supposedly has 1 GB of RAM.

  • these android phones are ALL THE SAME!!!!!!! Ssssstop It! (I own a HTC Desire :P)

  • comes out on my birthday

  • I love LG's UI.

  • Not bad at all.

  • I hate the AT&T logo in the notification bar

  • Its getting ICS

  • Suprisingly good camera. I like UI on this phone, very thought out. Though ugly as hell.

  • No ICS, apparantely somewhat weak CPU/GPU from my initial investigations.

Main plusses are 720P and 4.5 screen, but that's not enough I think.

I guess I'm waiting for Galaxy S 3, that's going to be an absolute monster. Too bad it probably wont come out until like September 2012.

  • @Cryengine it will get ics

  • WooW,, i like it

  • after the LG GW620 experience. LG NO MORE!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ICS on it then I'll buy it instantly :p

  • :p

  • ;)
