  • One of my favs

  • this game will get remade by Electronic Arts probably..

  • Very short but an outstanding game. Every time you replay it - it plays differently in many places.

Adds to the movie too unlike so many shitty "games-by-the-movie"

  • Shoot, I wish they'd make another Blade Runner game, especially with the recent release of The Final Cut and news of a sequel to the film.

  • Made back when publishers "cared".

  • Such an atmospheric game - I loved playing this back in the 90's.

I used to make frequent trips to the apartment so that I could stand out on the balcony and listen to the music hehehe...

This game really needs a faithfull HD remaster. Then it would be killer.

  • @DIGITALSCREAMS Ha, I use to do the same thing. Loved this game.

  • For people whose Blade Runner does not work: I developed a little patch for Blade Runner, it's called Blade Runner Installer 2012, especially for Windows x64. Take a look: bit.ly / t5k5Zb

    Regards

  • he never asked for it

  • WIN 7 PORT, WIN7 PORT!!!!

  • @tnartey Its strange i got this game on my windows 7 and it works

    No problem

  • @fallout111111 lol when i was typing that message i was thinking of saying HD console remake but i thought that would be rubbish so i said win7 port, but thanks for telling me it does work in win7 now im gona buy it. its been over 10 years since i last played it.

  • If you like the blade runner gameworld. Check out E.Y.E. Divine Cybermancy. A Deus Ex type shooter/RPG.

  • @HardWarUK Also check out Perfect Dark (N64, Xbox360) and Fear Effect 1 and 2 (PS). Both games borrow HEAVILY from Blade Runner.

  • The music is called Harps Of The Ancient Temples by Gail Laughton. It can be found by doing a search for Laurel Records. Or I can send you the URL by e-mail.

  • Got this game on order, can't wait to play it after hearing so many good things about it.

  • Just installed the game and got it running on Windows 7, cant wait to play this again! :D

  • The game is a sidequel to the movie, right? You don't play as Rick Deckard, but another runner doing a different investigation?

  • I really want them to remake this game. It's the best game, movie, book, and soundtrack combo ever, I think.

  • greatest film ever and a superb game

  • One f the best games ever made

  • The only L.A. Noire I'm playing :)

  • I could never get into this game as much as I really wanted to like it. I remember it coming out same time as Monkey Island 3 and I found that much more fun and usually I prefer sci fi stuff. I will say though, they nailed the atmosphere perfectly.

  • Best PC adventure ever. We need a remake.

  • @hgrgic Why would you want a remake of such a good game? All the remakes/reboots of the past few years have been terrible.

  • @LazyD86 I woudn`t change anything except updating the graphics

  • @LazyD86 REmake of Resident Evil was superb. Some times it does get done properly.

  • this game is simply amazing.. i remember there is a lot endings.

  • @reelyshamcat Untill today. Still. Maybe a German/English thing?

  • @High5Brah Yes, it runs on Windows 7.

  • @ObservedPrey

    Nope, it's "End Titles"

  • The graphics are impressive for 97.

  • @Skratche17

Looks and is better by far than cough "minecraft".

  • Name of the music in the video?

  • @napusisekurcajoutube It's called "End Titles", from the Blade Runner OST composed by the Vangelis.

  • When did they make this game?

  • @milano921

    I think 1996

  • this was on of the best graphic story film based games. atmosphere is impresive!! plus you have diferent endings... really diferents..

  • Just bought Blade Runner on blu-ray. I remember playing this on my older brothers PC years ago. I was probably around 10 when this game out. The movie confused me because I thought I knew the ending, but the game is different.

  • One of my fav PC games. Brings back memories watching this trailer.

  • 11 dislikes... really

  • The main character, McCoy, makes me think of Ray Liotta. This game was kickass, but a bit linear for my taste.

  • I wish they would do a sort of direct remake for this game. Re-release it with updated graphics, maybe find a way to put it on consoles . The only problem is that they might try to actually change it. Either way I need to buy this game again if I can find it.

  • is this point&clic adventure ?

  • @Aelkamal yes, but its done really well. Even for the time when point and clicks were common this took it to another level. After playing this game i bought more point and clicks and i was let down because non of them were done as good as this.

  • @PeterRabbit01 the problem is that point&clic adventure games don't see the possibilities in the genre, and think it should be a linear storyline, even though it has great characters, ambience etc.

  • hay question, i played this game over 10 years ago and i was like 6 but i remember liking it, but i dont no wether it was coz i was just a kid and was facinated by anything or weather it truly was a good game. so my question is is it actually a good point and click game since my uncle to our copy wen he moved out?

  • @tnartey Play it, you will love it.

  • This game brings back so many good memories. They really don't make games like this anymore.

  • @NOLFGirl

nybody knw how to encounter scene at :55 , seems like i missed it completely...shooting hollowgrams at rooftop?

  • @gizelbelcoot Its during the police simulator. At any point in the game if you go to the police station you can do the shooting training. this is just a part of that training. if you have any other questions just message me.

  • I bought this game when i was running windows 95 and when i upgraded to xp it was no longer compatible...or at least I wasn't technically savy enough to make it compatible ... It really did evoke a lot of the feelings you got from the movie

I just watched a trailer for L.A Noire which seems eerily similar to the bladerunner game

  • Watch this. Cube Destination

  • .they should have remade this by now.....

  • This is the only game I have played that actually 'got under my skin'. I played a scenario that involved me, the player, questioning whether I was, myself, a replicant.

Ok, this might seem a little silly but it was kind of creepy that it was even going there.

Yes, amazing game, did justice to an amazing film.

  • Hard to believe this was made in 1997. It's one of my favourite games of all time. The atmosphere is still unmatched.

  • graphicaly it stands up to most point and clicks even toda what an amazing game wasnt keen on the ending i think i keptgeting the bad ending not sure how many there were

but man it really made you feel like a blade runner probably the best movie licence game ever

  • YOU CANT FINISH POINT AND CLICK GAMES!

  • This game was the SHIT in its year!!! YEaH!

  • help spread the news bring back westwood studios pas it on

  • this flik doesn't do this game justice. Just an epic game.

  • I remember playing this game wow it took me back

  • CAn you use the ASWD keys?

  • @redfoxbennaton nahh, it was a point and click I think

  • I still remember watching the teaser for this game on the original C&C. But it was never released in Norway :( want to get green card plz

  • This is my favourite game so far!! I have never played a game that came as close to this for atmosphere :)

  • the trailer sucked but the game is really good.

  • @deconstructionist67

You just don't know what you are talking about! This games tell great stories! And if it'S not your taste go play a shooter! and see the same map for hours! Blade runner had the best athmosphere of any adventure game i ever played!

  • @deconstructionist67 have you actually played the game? it was good at its time, don't compare it to modern games.

  • @deconstructionist67 have you ever atually finished a point and click game?

  • @deconstructionist67 have you ever actually finished a point and click adventure game??

  • @deconstructionist67 sad but true

  • Why can t they make such games today ahhh

  • As "Moon" is praised to be the best SciFi since "Blade Runner" I watched the latter one again - what a deep and intriguing piece of film history it is...

  • My favorite game, used to wait till everyone left the house, made a cup of homemade noodles and played this. Saddest part was when i thought all 4 CDs had gameplay. You can imagine how devastated and confused i was when the first cd ended the whole game.

  • Its looks pretty good for a 1997 game ... Some games made today are way crappier ... but this is the trailer so you never know exact

  • i love this game

  • The Greatest stroy ever told

  • is it a free roam game or mission based

  • @Godzilla52 It's usual point&click adventure. You roam around freely, pick up clues, talk with ppl, when you have enough info you go somewhere, solve a puzzle, trigger some new cutscenes, and so the quest moves on till the end. Not a lot of ppl enjoy this gameplay, but for some it's great. I like it, too.

  • I like the fact that it's no rush to it, you can take your time, explore the environment, admire the scenery, you can think it through and it's quite immersive. These kind of games usually have great story and character development. Syberia is a great game that also pops to my mind, and it's also Grim Fandango, or The Longest Journey which is epic. Oh, and there's the Myst series, which is like the Holy Grail or something.

  • Lame asz movie never understood and cant puzzle out what the hel is the plot.

  • I sitill have all 4 discs, lol. This was one of the biggest games, memory wise, I had ever owned back then. I think it was 1.6 Gigs or something like that for complete installation.

  • cracking old game.

    i recently been playing it.

mad world and atmosphere to it very much like the film.

  • Memories ...

Was the first computer game I have played. Amazing, awesome... One of the greatest games ever. Still an thrilling atmosphere like The Nomad Soul [Omicron] and Fahrenheit :-P

  • @Mr3lade You're sooooo right!

  • Looks promising, any good?

  • the graphics were incredible back then and probs still are in many ways. the voigt-kampff tests were great fun and i love the way Deckard begins conversation by showing his badge and shouting LPD before getting to them! little details.. not the best adventure game ever by a long shot but it was atmospheric if not much else.

  • in that year, the graphics were awesome

  • My dad used to play it,then I played and i think it's awesome. Much better than nowadays games.

  • @SPARKYDADARKY Yeah, too bad they're not making those type of games anymore, the detective kind of games of these days are like CSI (and I've played them and they are sometimes cool, but.... well, how can I say this polite... They're just not the same that Westwood did back in the 90's)

  • This game made such an impact on me when I got it many years ago. The atmosphere in this game is fantastic and till this day unsurpassed imo.

I lived in this game :P

  • Wow, I didn't know Westwood did anything besides RTSes (excluding Renegade of course)

  • Just got tha game at FREEGAMERELEASE[DOT]COM

  • my favorite!!

  • First PC game I ever played, back in 2001 perhaps, and I just loved it. It still brings me happy memories.

  • @starkweather100 That is so weird to me that the first game someone ever played was in 2001, whereas for me it was about 1980. It just shows how old i am getting :(

  • @blade004 First PC game. Not my first game ever. First game ever would be Manic Miner on the Spectrum in about 1987 :)

  • @starkweather100 Oh that sounds better, now i feel younger again ;) Good old Manic Miner hey and the ZX Spectrum :) Actually i found the Spectrum version of the Dark Fusion the other day on YouTube because i just wanted to make comparisons between that version and the C64 version and WOW did the Spectrum version have some brilliant music that was composed by Ben Daglish :) In the right hands the Spectrum could do great things!

  • Great game, one of the best!

  • @Dragosani44 It is the best :D

  • i have this game OMG i love it!!!

hopefully it will work under vista :-/

  • @i99xx it will work in vista if you right click the blade runner .exe and go to compatability and select run under windows 98

  • gotta love old 3D clips :)

  • I loved this game and it would be great to see an updated version with a new story.

  • Monkey island is the king of the point and click genre!

  • time for a remake!

  • Indulge me :)

  • This was and still is a superb game, epic graphic contents for the era!

People are getting very giddy about the new PS3 title, 'Heavy Rain' and it does look very slick, but then it should, with all the power available to the PS3....This title was created 13 years ago, with no where near the same processing power. Well done guys, by now we should be watching full 3D in mid-air!!!

  • there needs to be an MMO of this.

  • neo-noir is great

  • for those of u who dont know and is use to the new graphics x games, this was top of the line back when we were kids. GREAT STORY

    GREAT GRAPHICS

    GREAT ENDING

  • awesome!!!

  • The atmosphere of this game impresses me untill today...I loved it!

  • @icecube45 What happened today that made you no longer impressed?

  • @juggibrahz

    lolol

  • @icecube45 So, what was special today that day 11 months ago when the atmosphere stopped impressing you?

  • played this game when i was a kid

it was pretty hard for me then but i had a lot of fun

  • I remember when i first played this game, runn ing around the corner, full of adrenaline, shooting the bum and throwing him in the trash xD.

I was so excited about the possibiltys this game had to offer back then and i still believe this remains a great game compaired to most new games now.

  • Woah! Awesome graphics

  • is game was ahead of its time

  • Love that 90's futuristic dark atmosphere, i miss those old somber feelings i had when playing these games... there were lots like this... even movies like dark city, great times! :(

  • Gevelegian, you should play Nightlong too. Very similar to this game, and in my oppinion, much better!

  • Oh yeah checked it out on Youtube and I know this game, thank you very much for telling me I have forgotten about it! Loved the game although I had it without the FMV scenes so it's nice so see what I missed! :)

  • Back in the day this game rocked the balls! It'd probably suck the balls now though :(

  • What? First I've seen of it was this year and I'm pissing myself by how awesome it is for being a game that's from 1997!

  • i didn't know that the game exist :D.The movie was awsome so i will get the game.

  • Awesome

i hope its as good as the movie

  • It is nice that people still find this gem of a game and enjoy it.

  • Ye this is a nice game - i found it under my million of games with 4 cds :D

    I like the sometimes-things-happen-and-sometimes-not-generator ;)

  • HAHAHAHH YOU SHOT THE BUM AT 56 XD

  • Was this a good game? Worth getting?

  • a very good third person adventure game. exceptionally conveys the cyberpunk atmosphere of the movie. logical, story-based puzzles (and a couple of "trial and error" type of puzzles), good dialogue-driven story with closure, although nothing too perplexing or elusive, interesting characters supported by believable voice acting, different endings, very good graphics and sound, no subtitles support.

for fans of the adventure genre, a must have.

  • Cool. Thanks for the recommendation. I'll definitely get this. I LIVE for Blade Runner. To my opinion, on of the top 3 sci-fis ever made.

  • agreed ;)

  • You should get Nightlong too, best point and click I've ever played.

  • Cool. I'll lokk into it also.

  • Non similar to this type, but a great point n click also.. it's the Syberia trilogy (the 3rd game will be released next year).

But you probably heard about it already.

  • they should make dr octagonopus vs. predator

  • How about a Blade Runner Vs' Predator game? Or, Predator Vs. The Thing?

  • I can't get past Crystal at the end. She's one tough Blade Runner.

  • you know there are like 4 endings depending on how you play the game?

  • Actually, there's thirteen endings all in all, but four themes of endings :)

  • Yeah, I know.

  • Simply Amazing. This game was made with love to the detail. And it´s so cool, the ending is like a mirror to your soul. All very personal decisions you made during the game lead to your personal ending. It´s simply amazing, the makers let you decide what you are, a rep or human.

  • Cool I just found a copy of this game for $4 and I bought it the old 4 disk set in near mint with booklet.

  • Westwoods games are always amazing.

  • God, this game was so breath taking. Seriously gave me the creeps while playing at night. :o)

  • i'm almost ashamed to say it but.. this game is where my blade runner journey started. when it came out in '97 (i was 13 at the time) i didn't know about the movie yet. ..how strange a time that must have been... lol

  • Yeah me too - also played the game 1st. Blew me away! If there has ever been any better cyberpunk music I dont want to know about it

  • You should try the book that the film was based on as well. It is called 'Do androids dream of electric sheep'. A good read!

  • I think this game would be great on The Nintendo DS using the stylus would work well with the games enviroment. If someone created a petition for Blade Runner to be updated on the DS then I would sign it.

  • Never knew about this game, too bad no Harrison Ford. Thanks for the upload.

  • Damn man, i really miss adventures like this. I played this as a kid and loved it. A couple months ago i thought again of this game and bought it on internet for 4 euro hehe.. Damn i completed the game in two sessions and was mad i completed it. The graphics are way back, but when you're in the game you completely forget about it. Just like other adventures like Monkey Island and Broken Sword, freakin' love it!

But there is no atmosphere as in Blade Runner, i really hope for a remake.

  • Totally agree. Remind me of my childhood, and graphics are good for 1997

  • No adventure game can match Blade Runner for atmosphere. Btw completed in 2 sessions? You know of all the alternate endings? - there is like 7 or something... (Lets hope Ridley Scott makes another so we can get another game)

  • There's actually 12 different endings.

  • I loved this game so so much, and at the time of playing it I never knew anything about the film :)

  • mine won't work ~ any vista fix ?

  • aa predobra igra, jel ima netko link za download??

  • ak nađeš javi :)

  • moj tata cale je ima na kompu, a nzm gde ju je skinuo :P

  • difficult to find on torent

  • I just got it off Piratebay; awesome game....

  • oh i loved that game. greaaat atmosphere. they really captured the style of the movie.

  • great game

  • great atmosphere, awesome game.

  • i liked the fact that it came on 4 cds and once you'd installed it you could run it from memory and give the cds to someone else. i was convinced there were only like 5 copies of the game in circulation...:-)

  • just got my hands on it there and gonna play now :D

  • I bought this in 1997 when I was 17, and it is still one of my favorite games ever. I loved how there was 6-8 endings.

  • That game does look fucking wicked haha.

  • cool. had this game since i was a kid and loved it. currently playing it again now after seeing the blade runner 'dangerous days' doco ;-)

  • There's only been one Blade Runner game right? I just watched this film really for the first time through the other night on Blu-Ray.
