  • Awesome!

  • You schould listen to fingerstyle guitarvirtuoso Harry Sacksioni, he plays chords, melody and bass at the same time on one guitar.

  • @DVHThrudgelmir He sure is one of the best guitarists O.o but i like the style of tommy emmanuel better then sacks :)

  • @Bjumpje Yeah, he's awesome too. It's just a matter of taste. ;)

  • Have you ever done a riff of the week on how to play over chord changes?

  • subliminal message at 9:14? lol

  • @kenseavert :well its an esp m-50

    has a strat type bridge

and due to the rapidly changing climate

its action gets messed up alot.....

and a guitar shop is way too far from where i live...

and its not possible for me to go there every month or week or so..

so just wanted to learn about it to save my self from all that trouble...

  • @robinfr93 look for a vid on the ibanez channel call the trem is your friend, it goes into string changing and setting up a guitar, it`s not hard it just depends what hardware is on your guitar.

$10 for a setup wow that`s seriously cheap....

  • @robinfr93 here's a vid that talks about how to adjust the action (/watch?v=ZfuP4yLesG0)

now that set up isnt exactly the same as from the photo i looked up, your guitar doesnt have the two larger adjustment screws but the saddle adjustment is the same. That channel also has a vid on truss rod adjustments if the saddle adjustment isnt enough. I also own a great book called totally guitar the definitive guide, it's a great resource to have around.

  • damn that Taylor 914ce looks and sounds sweet, great lesson Dave, pity due to boutonniere syndrome in my right hand i can`t fingerpick anymore and have to use a pick

  • and yah dave one more thing

itll be a big help if you could post a video about adjusting the string actions...

I've been searching my ass for one good lesson on string action

but hard luck found none to be any good

if you can itll be a big help....

    thnx in advance :D

  • @robinfr93 yeah this kind of depends on the guitar you have and it's tough to find exact numbers to aim for ( in a vid) because it depends on guitar type (tail piece, vibrato, etc..), string gauge, neck condition, and nut height. Just slacken the strings first and don't adjust the neck itself unless you're a pro. Most of the time though you will adjust it at the tail piece, find two slot head studs,or something for each string individually. BTW you could just take it somewhere and pay $10

  • Awesome Lesson Dave......

can you post more lessons on rhythm patterns and time signatures..

    again awesome video....

    tons of thnx man!!!

    :D

  • This is awesome!

  • it's the face at 4.39

  • More stuff like this. I plan on using this a lot lol! Love it!

  • "that's kinda white, you know?"

    lol great

  • Hey Dave.

    Nice lesson.

But can you make a lesson on how to practice either technically or theoritical without having a guitar in your hands.

    Situations like:School, work etc.

  • Very good lesson . More rhythm videos :)
