just bought one of these paid 190 for it amazing sound for small money better than alot of higher priced guitars honest spent a whole afternoon testing lots of acoustics ,crafters ibanez tanglewoods etc with a price range upto 400 quid but kept going back to this guitar so bought it and well chuffed with the sound.

@marinos3flash the sound is very clear. I love my new Fender. It's got a real mellow tone that I haven't heard from other guitars. (I own 3 acoustic guitars: Fender CD-60, Alvarez Regent and a 82 Yamaha) I haven't changed the strings yet so the ones that come stock are so good I'm kind of reluctant to get different ones. I know this is probably just my guitar, but mine Never goes out of tune. maybe one string a little every now and then, but the tuners are spot on. to me it's worth over 200bucks

@mtechfan my ernie ball coated new strings are non corrosion and coated titan all kind of shit, they are nice and slide easily, better tone also but thats just of fresh, clean and 0.11gauge strings

how does the tuner work?? do you just play a chord and it tells you what you played, and if it dont you have to tune it till it tells the right chord??

I own this guitar and i can say it is one AMAZING thing. I bought it for about 120$ in germany and i love it. The quality and the sound is what you expect from Fender and maybe even to be compared to guitars twice its price. The only thing is that you might have to adjust the action when you get it since i got mine with a pretty high action.

This is the guitar that I really want.. But I'm left handed.. Any rough guesses on how much it would cost to get one special made or how much it would cost additionally to swap the nut, saddle, and pickguard to the other side..? Any ballpark guess would be much appreciated

@IshuyangI Would suggest you check out the Left Hand Fender CD100LH model, a Fender lefty ready to go. A proper conversion on an inexpensive acoustic would probably cost almost as much as the guitar itself.

Fender cd 60 is a good guitar for those who can play pretty well!:-) I would certainly recommend this guitar for those, who just starts learning how to play and don't want to spend to much money on their instrument. I think that guitars for beginners is a very important topic for those, who start playing. so I made a special website, devoted to that problem.

Fender is a really great acoustic for the price. Some people will knock on the lower priced guitars but not everybody needs an expensive unit. And for the money you are getting a great guitsr and that's a fact.

if you're still unsure about buying it, then don't be. i just started playing and i got this as my first guitar. i put Elixir nanowebs on it and the sound is as close to perfect as any acoustic can get for the price. the action is really smooth, great resonance, it looks great, and i would tell any guitar player, seasoned or beginner, to invest in one of these.

Look .. I love this guitar . I love how it looks. I love how it sounds. But I want to play folk on this guitar .. And I don't know if it'll sound so good. I would say that this guitar is mostly for acoustic rock ..Folk music wouldn't sound so nice .. So I don't know .. I was thinking about a Hohner HW220 . It sounds amaizing and I think it's pretty good for me .. I need advice though . You are the experts .SO please ,I'm begging you , reply ..

I have the same guitar, but mine is electric-acoustic. The Fender CD60-CE.

Other then that, and being a cutaway guitar, it's pretty much the same.

I bought one just yesterday, It`s a great instrument, but made in china, so have to watch out when buying, I advise to check the guitar yourself, so that later you don`t have any surprises. One other thing, don`t let it slip, or drop on neck, cause these things are fragile. I had a similar guitar, other brand, dropped it few times, it had no problems. 2 of my friends had fenders like this, both when hit - first time -on neck, broke.
