Shawn, I think it's important to note that Alex's methodology uses panel-based data to extrapolate traffic estimates for all the sites in the world. Due to their panel methodology, they are highly susceptible to the self-selection bias (as to who signs up on their panel) and having anything less than 1 Million people on the panel is not a statistically significant amount to project traffic for all of the internet. Just a thought.

@GANin60seconds Hi & thank you for commenting! Yes you are right the Alexa Toolbar has to be on someones browser for them to calculate their data. I also do believe that their is enough people that are "honestly" using the toolbar to have a good indicator on your rankings.
