I just rode those trails today but the corkscrew was getting some fixing done to it so I didn't get to try it. It was a nice ride up until I rode the Hairy Toad loop- I hit a few trees, went over the bars once and bled very little.
one serious question, and i'm not trying to be an ass. Why do you have railings on the wood trail at 1:00? The trail is like 6 feet wide, are railings necessary? Or was the trail made by someone else for walking? I was just curious. Is it just a safety thing?
Its because the bridge was built on university property and the university's insurance company says that anything over 30" tall has to have a railing, its dumb but we've gotta keep them happy if we want to build stuff there.
This is all at the Michigan Tech Trails in Houghton, MI. And at 1:40 I don't know exactly what I was even trying to do...just feeling stupid in front of the camera and it ended poorly!

The railing is a safety thing, and its pretty high when you stand under it, 7 to 10 feet.
