  • Helen not gracing our screens anymore YAY

  • Thanks for posting! Never seen the Aulbury / Wodonga Bulletin here on YouTube.

Also, at 0:57 there is a stuffup.

P.S: How Come this is in 4:3 when a Prime Ident you posted was in 16:9? I thought Prime was widescreen.

    Thanks for posting anyways.

    Cheers

  • Yep, it seems they cut the audio to her microphone.

Prime broadcast's in 16:9 digital, however, their Albury bulletin is still produced using 4:3 equipment (like how some WIN bulletins remain in 4:3). Interestingly though, later in the evening there was a weather update filmed in 16:9 with 4:3 graphics, meaning the presenter was standing in-front of the black bars on the side

  • This may be because the news and sport was filmed and produced in Albury, with the Weather being presented straight from Canberra. Because Canberra's equipment is 16:9 digital, this contradicts with Albury's ancient resources.

Are you able to record one of the new Albury bulletins from Canberra?

  • @TomTelevision Yep that's right.

Prime News Albury is still done from Albury - the bulletin is not moving to Canberra like the others. As of two weeks ago the bulletin has (finally) been converted to widescreen.

The next time I am in the area I'll try and record another bulletin.

  • @BradF89 The Border Mail has now reported that the Albury news is moving to Canberra in the new year - despite the recent studio upgrade.

  • @TelevisionAU Amazing they left it in 4:3 for years and years, then two months after an upgrade they close down the studio!
