  • That is a downright gorgeous SAA

  • Very nice.

  • @floridafyme Thanks!!

  • Dude were did you get your golden boy rifle and how much is it

  • The Volcanic was the first "lever action" rifle. The result was the Henry 1860, then the 1866 Winchester which begain the famous rifle line, 1873, 1892 THEN the 1894. The 1873 was chambered for the 44 WCF along with other smaller calibers. The 94 was the 30-30 of which was also the first non-black powder cartridge. Never was the rifle offered in 45 Colt. The 45 Colt is a fine cartridge and is great in that rifle. Obviously Winchester did not want COLTS name anywhere on the rifle! NICE VIDEO!

  • the first lever action was the 30-30 winchester, the gun that won the west

  • @bigghauss35 Actually it was the Henry Rifle. The Winchester 1866 was modeled after it.

  • @JohnWayneColt45 i'm not trying to start an argument but the 30-30 was the first gun to be made and mass produced with a lever action. made by winchester

  • @bigghauss35 Mass produced yes, but the Henry was the first Lever action rifle.

  • @bigghauss35 i'm sorry, your right. it was the first repeating rifle. completely sorry, but i do have a question if the henry rifle was the first repeating rifle why is the winchester more popular for the times?

  • @bigghauss35 The first practical lever acton sold was the Spencer rifle in 1860. Although the Henry rifle evolved from the Volcanic lever acton design of the 1850's, mass producton of the Henry rifle did not start until 1862. Oliver Winchester bought the Henry rifle patents; the first actual Winchester lever rifle was the Model 1866 in 44 Henry rimfire. The Model 1873 was a steel-framed 1866 in 44-40 centerfire. The 1st true Win design was the Model 1876. The 30-30 didn't arrive until 1894.

  • @bigghauss35 The first lever action round was .44 cal.!

  • You sir, ARE a daisy. = )

  • Don't let anonymous critics ruin your day. It's a nice set; and the fact that you've got both weapons chambered in the .45 long Colt speaks to some wisdom in the decision-making process. My only question is whether you soaked your rigs in water and formed them to the shape of your respective weapons?

  • Thank you for sharing your love of such an iconic and historically innovative firearms model in both revolver and rifle style ever developed in the U.S. The technology and workmanship implemented into these fine period reproduction models are impressive, as well as, stunning to the eye of any Old West firearms aficionado. The exceptional quality of your custom leather rig is evident in the beautiful color, finish and detail from holsters to straps. The Pioneering Spirit of The Old West lives on.

  • is that a henry

  • @SuperNolanator its a copy of the Winchester 1866( yellowboy)

  • Awesome rig man, I'd love to have that Colt. I've always wanted a SA colt revolver with the case hardening finish.

  • lever action rifles.... the original assult rifle lol

  • The 45 Colt you have looks more like a US firearm's gun then a colt. no colt stamp on it. IT is colt Style though but no hammer mounted firing pin. Nice gun just the same. How much did you pay for it.

  • @KB1PTH its definitely a Colt, its the Cowboy Model.Check out my Macro vid of this gun.

    I paid $700 New.

    Thanks for watching!!

  • you went from talking about the 45 colt, to the 44-40, then to a 45-90? the 45-90 isnt even in the same class as the 44-40 and the 45 colt. 45-90 is a rifle round for the trapdoors and the 1886 rifles...haha confusing bro

  • @PainTrane01 I was just saying that the 45lc was one of the original cowboy rounds, just like the 44-40, 45-90.I wasn't comparing them just saying they are all rounds from the cowboy days.

  • This is really awesome! I have wanted one of the Uberti cattlemans for a long time now..

I already have a holster, but my only gun is a replica by denix, which is broken (the cylinder doesnt rotate) because I was constantly using it...WOOPS! hahaha

    Anyways, nice video! =)

  • Nice guns just a sweet set Wow Thats a nice rifle.

  • @chef0086 Thanks!!

  • I thought the 1866 was yellowboy, not goldenboy. but i guess its a different model.

  • @BeppeOwnage you're right bro,,,I just said goldenboy for some reason.

  • @quigglydownunder I'm afraid you're wrong there buddy. That is a Colt. It's a Cowboy model and they do have a transfer bar.

  • How is it that you're calling that six gun a Colt. Where's the hammer mounted firing pin? That revolver has a transfer bar and no firing pin on the hammer. It also doesn't have the Colt patent stamp on the left side of the frame where it should be.

What make of revolver is it?

  • @FiddlerFreak It is a Colt , its the Cowboy model. Its the newer more affordable version of the Army Model.

  • very nice

  • @Mrbeanutube Thanks!!

  • NICE

  • @DoCxHoLLiDAY45 Thanks!!

    Great Screen name.

  • Helloi believe the name of the rifle is "Yellow Boy"

  • Yellow Boy ... not golden ...

  • Yup

  • Beautiful Colt! I love old westerns. Clint Eastwood made these guns look sweet on the Big Screen, Thanks for sharing with us!

    Keep them coming! 5 Stars!

  • Thanks so much Blaze!! I love old westerns man, the imagery is amazing. What a great time in our countrys history,; brought to life by some great Americans,John Wayne,Clint eastwood,James Stewert,Randolph Scott....

  • @thecajunblaze That gun ain't a Colt. He's bullshitting ya all. It's a Ruger or Uberti or something like that but it AIN'T a Colt. Colt's have the firing pins mounted on the hammer. THAT gun has no firing pin on the hammer. It's a fake, just like the guy making the video. He's a BULLSHITTER.

  • @quigglydownunder You're the one who's full of it. It is indeed a Colt. Maybe you should take a lesson in guns as well.

  • @quigglydownunder The thing I find humorous about Youtube is all of the self-appointed experts. How quick they are to criticize. Before you call anyone a BULLSHITTER, calling him a fake, you'd best ensure YOU don't show YOUR own ignorance. It is a Colt in this video, and the Colt Cowboy model DOES have a transfer bar and no hammer firing pin. Any quick internet search will bring you to info about that model. Would be nice to give JohnWayneColt45 an apology.

  • Very nice Would make a great SASS set up!
