The only cars competing in this segment here is the Mazda5 and Kia Rondo. The 5 does not allow towing at all, whereas in Europe it does. The 5 has only 6 seats, whereas in Europe it has 5.
The only diesels here are only overpriced volkswagens. No diesels on the 5.
Europe has a *LOT* better cars than we do. It SUCKS here for cars.

The first Euro Ford to come to the US is the Transit Connect, next in about a month is the Fiesta, late this year or beginning of next year the Focus will be the same in Europe and in the US. After that, the US Fusion and Euro Mondeo are merge to one car, US gets Grand C-Max, Kuga, and an assortment of other vehicles.
This car will be a giant hit when it comes to North America in 2011. Ford will not be able to keep these cars on the lots. It has everything a small family could want but will also appeal to singles or young couples. This car has the kind of cool looks the under 30 types will want and it is practical to anyone under 65!. This car is a certain winner. It's really gonna send Honda and Toyota scrambling!
I am in israel. We Will Have C-Max When The Automatic Gearboxes Comes Out.
