There is no speaker- only a audio out. You'll need a mini-plug earphone (included with device).

Yeah, you'd think they would do a firmware upgrade for this. Then again, this is an Asian watch, not available in the USA (unless you go through eBay or a foreign website).

eBay is the best place. I paid $120 for this one when they first came out, but you can get them for as low as $50 now.

12 hours when the time display is on continuously. The display is VERY bright. You can set the display off, press a button to display it for 5 sec, then off again. In this case, the charge would last for several days.

No external speaker- that would have to purchased separately with its own power supply/amplifier.

yeah, mine has different menus as well. They don't have animations for instance. What firmware version does yours have? Mine says 7.302 in settings->about. Do you know if it's possible to do a firmware upgrade ?

Don't let the flicking fool you (a result of 15 fps video shooting). The screen is far cleaner and crisper than LCD or PLASMA! 1.5" OLED screen, plays videos, mp3s, pics, voice recorder, and tell time. This 1G watch holds about 200 songs, 100 pics, & about 15 short videos. Comes with earplugs, mic, conversion software, mini-USB plug, and wall outlet. I get about 12 hours of watch display, or 6 hours of music, or 4 hours of videos. Takes about 2 hours to fully charge.
