    One comment though - Try to work a cleanly as possible. Any dirt or grit in the system will increase the wear and tear when in operation. It's worth the few extra bucks in clean rags and plastic gloves.

  • I used to work in a brake factory. Calipers are assembled in a dust-free clean room. I would never ride in or on anything I knew had calipers assembled in this condition.

  • remanufactured aren't available for all bikes. If you work on the bike at all try the rebuild

  • Save your time and buy a reman instead.Rebuilding a caliper is a huge waste of time and most shops do not rebuild calipers buying a reman instead.

  • Very good incite, which only comes from experience.
