  • I poo on your face

  • What I would like to know more about are replacing batteries for other UPS-es - which need to be opened to do the job. Also safety precautions, identifying positive vs negative, etc. This video is more like an ad for APC, demonstrating that for APC a 5 year old child can do it safely.

  • HAHA, one of the hefty ones. That is not hefty, I have a Smart-UPS 3000VA that weighs about 60KG. now THAT is hefty

  • thanks alot

  • Cool.

  • Its like changing batteries of the remote control. Why the hell did they make a video was about this?

  • its the same as the square peg goes in the square hole but people get that wrong

  • this ups is bigger than my pc

  • @boqallaf Then your Pc needs a good crash so you have an excuse to buy a 5970.

  • normaly an UPS is a charge protector with no batery ,

  • Sorry my mistake ,

UPS is just a batery power supply , it doest not protect your PC from storm ( high electricity peck )

i was talking about SP ( surge protector ) like MOV , thats what i have ,

  • i need about 2700watts to run everything >.>

  • how long will those things gimme 600W of power?

  • a gaming PC uses max 400W under load in idle 130W...

  • than 400w under load..thats a really weak gaming pc..

  • @damianson my previous pc that wasnt ment to game maxed out the 350W psu. i hated that psu didnt make me oc my Q6600 more then 3GHz >:C lol

  • Q9550@3.8GHz, 8GB of RAM and HD 4890 at max load : 380W, idle 180W. You call that weak PC? Maybe you live on a different planet, or you never test REAL power consumption.

  • Well i have a 1000watt psu and i know im using alot of it.....

  • config?

  • "your pc can be shut down safely before having to turn it off"

isn't shut down and turn off the same thing??

  • wen you shud down the psu still has a small curent powaring the tern on system, but if you tern it of you have no power in the computer

  • i thought it was something among those lines....

all electronic devices use at least some amount of power when they're "not working"

but thanx for clarifying the difference =)

  • and soz for my speling

  • im sure they wouldnt make the video if they werent asked about it alot by people who cant read or just throw away the manual lol

  • why would you make a video on subject material that is already covered in the owners manual?

  • because it has people who cant understand an user manual ... :-)

  • They're useful things to have, but I don't think I'd get stuck with replacing those batteries.

The chances are if you own one,you know how to do this already.

  • RFM ( read the fucking manual)

  • wow how stupid can you be to don't actually know how to change a battery.

  • yeah - and it actually says it all on the battery itself "INSERT THIS WAY"

oh, and thats what she said XD

  • @NapsterX666X A video like this helps to determine if a battery is replaecable. I just got a model similar to the first one show here which is easy to swap, but I have a similar model many years old that has the positive lead Super glued in, so you can't just "unsnap it as easily here. I guess APC didn't want people to replace batteries in their earlier models, or have customers pay for service or new units.

  • whats UPS

  • google is your friend

  • wonder how many people don't know this.

  • hhmm... interesting, but i think a lot of people want videocard reviews an not this :P

and dont you dare saying first!

  • FIRST !! :D:D

  • oh no you didnt xD
