VeryGames DOES work, but the fact is. It doesn't run 1.9.X or much more for that matter, my server kept shutting it's self down because it was reaching 100% CPU capacity, and when I asked for a refund they wouldn't give me one, and the customer support is appalling. I'd propably go with Global7 if any on this list.

I honestly don't know why people go with game server hosts instead of VPS or dedicated servers. They are more capable. Though they may have a bandwidth limit Minecraft don't use a lot of it. 500GB bandwidth is more than enough for a 50 player server and you get full control over the Linux command line, web hosting, and a lot more value.
