  • The previous season, it was reversed; "The Incredible Hulk and the Amazing Spider-Man". I thought that opening theme was cooler, especially when Hulk was lifting the megaton steel cube and Spidey swings by, landing on top of it. I wish they'd put that one on YouTube.

  • Technically the Hulk cartoon was kind of a spin-off because Hulk was on an episode of the Spidey-Friends. It was something of a pilot.

  • I was trying to find that sandman episode where he discovers spiderman's identity. That one was my favorite as a kid. I hope someone puts it up on youtube eventually.

  • @mrchompers75 If you have Netflix, they have put up the entire series of Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends and Spider-Man the animated series from 1981!

  • @jrewing73 Yep, been watching them.

  • @mrchompers75 I have that ep on a tape that I stole from my parents. It's the only one I ever saw of the show.

  • SPIDER-MANTM

  • I love the classics! Brings good ol' memories back.

  • Good old day od Saturday morning as a kid.

  • Yup great cartoon, i was born in 1981 and grew up watching syndicate versions of these shows. The 80's was a great time of animation such as Thundercats, G.I. Joe, He-Man, Transformers, COPS, Real Ghostbusters, She-Ra (Mainly for He-Man's appearences, Hordak and those hot girls), Bravestarr, Centurions, Ducktales, and more.

  • Hell yeah but She-Ra was hot for a cartoon female.

  • I always thought She-Ra's ID Adora was hotter, how about Adora, Glimmer, Catra and Frosta? now those were smokin' girls.

  • WOW, thats old !

  • Wha... There was a whole series with Spiderman and Hulk?

I just remind an appearance of Hulk in one episode of Spiderman and His Amazing Friends. Along with other appearances of Captain America, wolverinem, Namor, Doctor Strange and othe Marvel superheroes in other episodes.

  • This intro is actually from 1983. In 1982 it was called "The Incredible Hulk and the Amazing Spider-Man"

  • Man I was in kindegarden when that was at. Time flys. LOL

  • These old cartoons bring you back to when you were young and the world was different...rich5248 you have no reason to comment on something you know nothing about

  • dude. at 0:14. who's that lady? with iceman? looks familiar!

  • FireStar

  • fuck off supercruiser72! your getting your panties up in a bunch because I said something negative about a fucking kids cartoon from 27 years ago. get a life!

  • come watch some of the cartoons.

  • When I was little, the hulk cartoon used to scare the hell out of me!!

  • I'll admit, the hulk series with

Bill Bixby and Lou Ferigno now that use to scare the shit out of me!! Especially the white eyes!!

  • haha, when i was little a lot of random shit scared me, like "who wants to be a millionare?"

  • This was the start of western cartoons getting good. I loved the hulk music.

  • For me the spiderman theme!!

  • I can't believe he was able to grow his clothes back once he changed to Bruce Banner

  • Censorship physics.

  • WTF! these were great, go watch POKEMON and you will see someting corny.

  • @retromann1 That's why I prefer to watch Pokemon in its authentic format. Not the version that was shown on American tv.

  • @retromann1 actually Spiderman and his amazing friends was pretty corny, but Spiderman the animated series kicks ass

  • @supersaiyansai Which series? Weren't there a few? I prefer the Marvel series from 1966.

  • @gjc82071 that one was good, but i prefer the 1994 series, mostly because thats the one i grew up with, and i still think that its one of the best cartoons made to date

  • @supersaiyansai The '66 series was even a bit before my time, but is the only 1 I've ever watched with any consistency. I 1st started watching it in about 1981-2, while with my parents who were on the road in a band. I remember this little motel we stayed at, in the middle of nowhere. It had an "arcade"/game room consisting of 3 games. Whoo hoo! Every morning I'd watch Spiderman, swim (if/when the pool was open), play Missile Command, & count my fingers. Nothing else to do.

  • @gjc82071 well if the spiderman that you grew up with has venom, carnage, the lizard, and the green goblin withe a black hole projector, then you and i grew up with the same show

  • @supersaiyansai I grew up with the original 60's series (repeats) and then this when I was about 10-12. Hobgoblin and Venom weren't around yet, Carnage showed up in the 90's.

  • @TheGoldcountry yeah carnage is relatively new, but i grew up on this one near the end of it's life, then i watched the animated series from the 90's, i only saw like 10 episodes of his amazing friends, but i've seen every episode of the 90's one, i was about 8-9 i remember because i have a picture of myself as a kid with the amazing Spiderman t-Shirt

  • @supersaiyansai Not really, 80's Spiderman were pretty good.

  • @videozfann they where, but they had corny stuff in it, like those puns, and spiderman being over friendly to people, bu otherwise it was a good show, but i prefer the 90's animated series, that had such a great back story, i guess i liked it better cause it was a "to be continued" series, when this one was "a new adventure every week", i just liked the 90's series better

  • @supersaiyansai Over friendly, so, different world back then and in my opinion a better one. Now most people just want to be assholes. There is some corniness in everything.

  • >>>>>>>>>"All Marvel cartoon's from the 80's were corny but they were innocent and fun."

They were nowhere near corny, you bastard. These are excellent cartoons. Also, something can't be corny and innocent and fun at the same time, you idiotic shitlicker! Use your head and common sense next time, dumbfuck! Geez, when will people learn?!?

  • ...never?

  • Man this was it and one of the best Saturday morning combos ever.

  • Two amazing shows!!!!

  • Greatest Marvel one-two punch EVER!

  • Damn, Saturday mornings ruled back then.

  • I remember this intro on NBC back in the day! I used to wake up every Saturday morning to watch it! Thank you Stan Lee for my childhood!

  • Me too!

  • I remember that to man right after the intro you could hear casey kasem talking on them bumpers remember that ?

  • @kewanw16 Actually, the narrator wasn't Casey Kasem, it was Stan Lee!

    -R78

  • Wait a minute I said Casey Kasem was doing voiceovers for the NBC Saturday commercial bumpers between breaks.

  • @kewanw16 Oh, I see...I thought you were talking about the narrator of the shows. Casey Kasem did the NBC voiceovers. My mistake & I take it back..
