I was making a delivery in Waterloo,WI once(feels like in the middle of nowhere).Entered a bike factory by mistake-checked the shipping dep all the way in.A week ago i bought a Trek 1.5.Now i realize that this was the Trek factory.Go figure.Mine is designed in Waterloo but made in China.Maybe only the Madone is US made.But it will cost you an arm and a leg.Great bikes though.

Need help in buying a bike. What is the most maintenance free bike that Trek makes? I was looking at the Soho S or the Trek 4300. I guess to pin point the question, the one the bike tech does not work on that much or never see's.

@ARTOFWAR2008 All Bicycles regardless of the manufactuer will need maintenence and service. Its a mechanical machine, they break down and wear out over continued usage.
