I think this is the writers bitchslapping the actors and actresses for being ass-holes paywise, and from what I can see in the series and sitcoms these days, most actors and actresses can't tie their own shoe laces without a writer telling how and what to say.

God these cocky actors think everyone's just dying to get to watch their creative genius for a minute or two on youtube... pay your writers more and shut up if youre so worthless without them.
It's not the actors that are depriving the writers of money. It's the Big Wigs and Execs in the studios. These actors are showing their support to the writers because they are out of work until the strike is resolved. Know what you're talking about before insulting people.
Linney's skit is SO well-conceived and her performance so convincingly natural (to portray awful screenwriting leading to terrible acting) that it almost defeats the purpose of the "speechless" video.
Why bother negotiating contracts when we've still got Laura Linney?
Go Laura! Thank you for supporting the Writers! Hollywood is nothing without writers. The future is downloadable technology. The writers of the entertainment that we all love and watch are due their fair share. Shame on the producers and their corporate greed!
