Is it just me or are the vocals poorly mixed? I can hear the guitar, bass and drums but it sounds like Dustin is yelling at one end of a drain pipe and the microphone is at the other end of it. Definitely doesn't do the guys justice.

Well, to clear everything up, I listened to the guitar center podcast, and they said this song was about neglectful fathers. But the thing about great lyrics are they can be interpreted in many ways and everyone can have their own thoughts of what theyre about.
And the "you" in the song must undoubtedly be Satan. "You were built for blessing but you only make them bleed, but you don’t care"... Satan was an Angle before his fall and disassociation from the Lord. He was thus 'built for blessing', but instead chooses to corrupt humans or 'make them bleed'. "bruises are but shadows of the blackness that you breathe" you can obviously see where this is going... and Satan is less than half a man, and he will one day meet his reckoning, and he'll understand.

Alright. So religion has nothing to do with Indians being wiped away. Religion put aside, war, conflict and disease always result when foreigners enter new lands with indigenous populations present. The first and second World Wars, which have been the most costly conflicts in the history of mankind occurred between countries of the same (or at least extremely similar) religious traditions and beliefs. That comment was incredibly false... People, in this case atheists, should think b4 typing
it is so funny...i am italian and in my country the christian scene doesn t exist at all we actually hate religion.....americans are so mad .....maybe they forgot that because of the church all the indians has been wiped away......pathetic......but thrice musically is amazing.
