I know very little about Michael Haydn, but I am sure he was a great composer. It is known he was one of the most important influences in Mozart's music as he belonged to the "galante" style. Lovely, thanks for posting.

Ha Ha very funny. If you said you preferred him over WA Mozart I'd agree. But, FJH is the greatest of all composers in my opinion.

If you search 'Gluck Paride', you will see some comments I made about some of the 'other' composers of the 18th century. I love his Divertimento in G, his concerto for violin was just performed in a local church. I commend you for assembling this.

Excellent.
I have decided for quite some time that Michael Haydn's concerto pieces are simply treasures to be heard over and over again.
Still need to get to know his other music.
