ntt docomo was an actual japanese telephone and internet company (one of the earliest) who requested arpanet to write the music for they info-mercials and promotional publicity.

it was actually really cool, and the tracks by arpanet are amazing, as always.

Arpanet is also an electro group out of detroit (obiviously also influenced by vintage technology, as all their music is made on 1970s vintage synths and drum machines). Its easy to think it was about actual arpanet.

Tokyo! I spent a week there for New Year's last year during my university study in Japan. Also, DoCoMo is one of the major cell phone companies in Japan, along with AU and SoftBank. This song is pretty sweet too.

Dopplereffekt is a group with Donald as well in it.

If you heard of Japanese telecom, Heinrich muller, etc., its also Gerald Donald who's behind it :D
