super speech Tehran, I really enjoyed it. its quite clear you did your research and well done for making your point come accross as light hearted as you did.
I am very proud of you Tehran. Born during the Iranian Crisis, with many odds, and your artful skill of sharing information from a biracial view point is brilliant.

Tehran, you ROCK man! great contribution to mankind with your acknowledgments your advice and honesty, by the way we Persian know better about our bad sides, bad things inhumanity and ugliness, better than any anyone. We need to accept that...money and need of power is just abusing us as any other exploited and abused nation inn the world.

I'm an old American white guy who was lucky enough to love a Persian woman. Born, raised and educated in Tehran, she was/is everything you portray and more. Although no longer my lover, I will love her til I die and know that my time with her was some of the best of my life. Thanks for acknowledging these truly beautiful people.

Not without my daughter was NOT even filmed in IRAN. It was filmed in Isreal. There are few Iranian actros (vatan foroosh) that play in that movie. Perhaps the biggest lie of a movie ever made.
@MAZDAKPRODUCTION Do you live in the states?! Of course us Iranians have never heard of those misconception but the westerners that are not familiar with us, do have that image
YUP, I HAVE 3 SISTERS OF WHICH, 2 PHD'S AND ONE OBGYN.. AND MY MOTHER WAS COLLEGE GRADUATE 55 YEARS AGO IN IRAN....THANKS TO REZA PAHLAVI WHO MADE ALL OF THESE POSSIBLE FOR IRANIAN WOMEN AND DOWN WITH JOMHOOREYE ISLAMI THAT LIKE TO KEEP WOMEN IN THE KITCHEN.
This is overall really nice but I have no idea why the most important mis-stereotype would be a woman's looks. I'd rather be acknowledged as educated and un-subservient than beautiful . I think it's a disservice to women to emphasize the importance of beauty. Beauty is a limiting force for women if it is considered important since it is the feature that women have the least control over (and shouldn't need to feel like they need to meet a man's standards)
EFF AGHDASHLOU!!! SHES A TRAITOR WHO SOLD HER COUNTRY FOR A ROLE IN A MOVIE THAT PROMOTES WAR ON IRAN CALLED IRANIUM. LOOK IT UP! THAT BITCH IS A SELL OUT!
It is amazing that Tehran is so intelligently challenges all the stereotypes against the Iranian women and so naively falls for the stereotype created by the leftist MSM about governor Palin. I hoped a man as intelligent as him would use some of his intelligence not to be fooled by what the MSM says about one of the smartest women politicians of America.
@FaithfreedomFFI : I think he was paralleling the media's misportraylal of Iranian women with the way Sarah Palin is looked down on by the media. Just because he makes people laugh doesn't mean it's not intelligent. It's satire.
@tubeafrochimp I watched that again, but I don't think that is what he was doing. In Palin has been supporting the struggle of the Iranians far more than those black women Tehran is praising. The adjective Strong, Proud, Brave and Beautiful fits no one more than Sara Palin.
there is always other side to every story. I don't know if you were in Iran at the time of revelotion but It was a different era and it was not all womens' fault. Men and women all did it because they were lied to from the begining. People believed in that monster and voted for him. (khomeini). But I have so many Iraninan female friends who are very educated and well rounded and great mothers. They are taking care of the family and home and work at the same time.
I never realized those are the stereotypes of Iranian women!!! In our circles Iranian women are beautiful and educated. I appreciate the kind words, but not sure if they are necessary.
Many thanks Tehran. Well done. Your speech is very nice and entertaining. It would have been perfect if you included the Persian 19th century poetess (Taherh) who removed her "Hejab" and fought for emancipation of women.
This man is brave, intelligent, and sincerely a devoted man with goooood human heart. He knows the meaning of suppression, discrimination, and living under tyrany. He should be given a high position in State Department , not at the Iranian Desk but as a senior advisor to the Secretary of Deffnce and more...
Iranian women are not subservient, uneducated or ugly. And they are certainly not humble either. Ever wondered why so many of them are old and unmarried? Because they see marriage as a business contract. They wait for a guy who is highly educated or has a lot of money. Character means very little to them. Guys get sick of them and marry non-Iranians. And Iranian women are still waiting .... and waiting and waiting.
@cameronmoj I am Iranian and you are absolutely right. A friend of mine once asked how come so many fine young Iranian women are married to fat uggly old men? I answered they want the credit cards, the Benz or BMW and run their mouth all day and complain about everything, and be treated like a princess.
Iranian women ar ethe most materialistic, shallow, money obcessed prostitutes whether they're muslim, Zoroastrian, Bahai, Christian or whatever
@jikjikpampam well, I actually thought it has something to do with being republican, now the irony is it contradicts the fact that republicans include gays, white, black Hispanics and so on... so on the other hand this man himself is encouraging stereotypes! So as a man who is in the business of stereotypes he shouldn't complain about Iranian stereotypes!
good stuff :)
