Had another go, first tim in 15 flights pos, destroyed several radar, runway, returned to base without being shot down and then damaged plane on landing as usual. Key to this is take 3 planes with you to use as cannon fodder. Don,t know why damaged plane on landing when was very slow.
Yep, just tried again, 24k flight, got to target site, low cloud cover so could not see a damn target anywhere and then missiles coming through cloud at me and dodge a few but then the inevitable happens, and down i go. Wingman doing sod all even though i told him to kill the sams. He breaks formation, drops a few thousamd feet then comes back up to join me without firing. Wtf??? Bloody sams
I do stay above 2k most of the time, during missions i may be flying at 24k approx and have to go low to engage and then get hammered. Sams are just a nightmare.
Can you explain harms to me. I think i read it was a missile to be used againt sams. Do you just fire and it finds it's target on it's own or do you have yo lock on to sams site?
@bluedragonis I meant to say stay above 2000ft and you have to lock onto the SAM when it turns on to search. You should watch some training vids they're all over youtube ;)

@moleyjose Anytime man, just drop by and join TS3. People are always wanting to fly, but they are just waiting for guys to show up. Best thing is when you are rdy, just join the TS3 Channel and jump in the AF channel, or chill in the Lobby. I'll be on later to fly, about 6:00pm PST GMT-8 ;)
@ArichManas It took me like 25 tries before I started to catch on so don't feel bad, lol. It can be frustrating, resist the urge to shoot it down when you fail.
How do you zoom in whilst flying like in this video when he zooms to the fighter

Another flight.... Off towards naval attack, most way there and 2 mig29s come out of nowhere and shoot me down with no warning.

I play this but get fed up as every mission i go on i get blown to bits by sams. Is there a ceiling above which they cant get you?
