None of my favourite acts have been big Grammy winners, which is what I like about them, cause they are too good for that shit, but the up-side about the award is that it sometimes goes to people who actually deserve recognition, and my 2 fave acts, Marty Stuart & his Fabulous Superlatives and Iron Maiden, are amongst those people... and both acts have done their duties to music more than Rihanna or Coldplay. It's a shame Aces High and/or Powerslave didn't win though.

@IronMaidenDoD Youth is less likely to be aware of the existence of those gems. Most kids would get hooked on newer stuff and sometimes, not even discover the better songs of the past. I have been that way before, but I work my way back. I was the lucky one in my generation to hear Aces High, my first Iron Maiden song. My family is a heavy listener of Maiden and classic Metal/Rock. It's a shame Aces High and/or Powerslave didn't win though.
