@venom82965 Because the maker of this mod only makes you send your position; not what kind of animation nor clothes you're on. :) It won't be a big problem to add that though - but it's a great thing to see that the networking is already working well.

@venom82965 this is a mod made by a modder... i think there was a limit for the modder to make the other players' movement and equipment to show up when they all get connected to one server.... this mod is still in very early stage of beta as far as im concerned so who knows... the naked floating online players problem might get fixed later on

There has been mods like this one since Morrowind, and yes that includes FO3, but they have never ever gone further than this mod.

Sorry to be a buzzkiller but I've seen this a couple of times now, just don't want anybody to get their hopes up for a mod that is never going to work.

@HolyShadow180 The CK is great for altering stats and adding models and such to the game. But it cannot alter the source code. you would need to decompile the source code (which is illegal) add multi, re-compile. and pray it works. It is faster, and easier to start from scratch with a new game that has multi from the beginning.

I'm just saying, it has been tried with previous bethesda games, and it has NEVER gone longer than this "mod" is in this video. google oblivion online

So this is just proof of concept seeing, other players probably won't sync with your game its just transmitting player positions to you.

Time is synced, weather is synced. However monsters and weapons are not at the moment. Apparently they are working on getting that fixed.

Hopefully they don't quit out like the oblivion guys did when it comes to multiplayer.

I hope they don't do a MMO style mod. Its not like WOW, depending the amount of people the computer would glitch and slow down computing all the information. I plan to LP multiplayer games. Of course, I enjoy Skyrim, but it's singleplayer. I'd like to see this mod grow, so I can LP Skyrim as a multiplayer game, but I'd wait for the kinks to be fixed, so I hope to see that done fairly soon. By fairly soon, I mean maybe in a few months. @Freakybranstyles It's a RPG based on story, you cannot pull off a GOOD mmo around story. Not to mention the bugs already present in skyrim (And most other elder scroll titles) would be multiplied by 100%.

The only way you could pull off a Elder Scroll multiplayer game is by adding a lobby system that supports 4 or 5 players at maximum. Such an amount that you can run around and not break the story as bad or the bugs aren't half as noticeable.

I installed this just as it said to. The Skyrim Online Launcher works fine, but whenever I'm actually in the game, it doesn't load Skyrim Online. (ie in the top left corner weather, etc appears but no "Press F3 for Skyrim Online) I tried recopying the files to the Skyrim directory, but it's still not working :/ Please help.
