Even if his original storyline called for it, killing off Tara was one of the biggest mistakes Joss ever made with Buffy. He lost a HUGE fanbase and honestly, since the loss of the character, Willow's storyline has branched off in a way that has her so out of touch with her origins that it's verging on unbelievable. Plus her most recent romantic interest have been frickin irritating; seriously Joss, a bitchy, underdeveloped character (Kennedy) and a compulsive liar snake demon? WTF?
@DrApocalypseNow You're absolutely right. I loved Tara and not only as a part of the Willow&Tara couple. I understand that her death was important for the 6th season but as you said, after season 6 Willow's storyline just totally disappeared. Nothing special happend with her (ok, maybe something in the very last episode of season 7).
Anyway, I still think it's funny that Amber Benson dates with Adam Bush, who actually killed her character in the show :D

I liked the evil Willow story line and Tara's death led to that ... but I hate Joss for killing her off and I wish he'd bought her back in season 7 or in the comics. I may have forgiven him then.
She had grown up with Willow. It was so sad that she had to die (a silly death indeed) and couldn't be brought back. That's unfair...I'm glad that I'm not the only one who likes her!
great video...Tara has this sorta half-smile that simply takes your breath away...she's so cute, sweet...and strong! No words, only a soft loving smile...
After all she's been through (family lies, brain-sucking, willow's addiction and betrayal of her trust by the messing around with the memory-spell) she deserved to be happy, her character was one of the best and far away the most positive of the show (wise, careful, honest, NORMAL).
I guess I'm not the only one to notice that when tara smiles it reaches one eye, then the other in a super cute and amazingly gorgeous way :)

0.31 and 0.34 is probably the episode 4x17 Superstar and 1.32 is episode 6x05 Life Serial (if you meant these scenes)
