@balitaSR yet a stock 240z with an L24 rated at 151bhp w/ 4spd does it in 7.8 seconds... These cars came with 5 spds and higher rear end gear ratio's which gives you faster accel... so going backwards doesnt make sense.

Sweet car, but is it just me or does it sound like its timing is advanced WAY too far?Sounds like pinging at 7:05? Maybe I'm just crazy but thats what my '83 N/A sounded like on 87 oct fuel and the timing advanced too far.

Agree though that it sounds like its pinging...listen for it at 2:11. timing is too advanced and/or fuel octane(RON)too low. I know in Australia, Japanese turbo sports cars have their boost lowered to cope with the low octane fuel too prevent detonation.

@HobbesR6 You really cant diagnose a car having too advanced timing from a video. Sound quality can make it sound different than it does in person. I dont think anything is wrong with it considering it looks like a mint 240zg. I am pretty sure they wouldnt get it wrong, but maybe it is who knows? I just hear the same tone and engine noises that every other Z makes including mine.
