Thanks for the demo - very informative. But I find it mind boggling they would build a GPS device that doesn't actually display longitude and latitude on it !?
@Alloutdoor1 Yes, both very good features. I like the simplicity of it. If it only had lat. & long. display, I'd leave my Garmin at home and use just this with a map.
@EnduringEagle The batteries have so far lasted over a year, ive used the unit about 40-50 times during this period keeping it on for about 10-15 minutes at a time. The way points stay in memory even when the batteries are removed (which is good to know!).
good review thanks for uploading...interesting the price difference from the camo version to your orange version? like 14 dollars? and i think thats silly
Very helpful, thankyou. :)

@wmrandth That is a limitation sadly. However, it is an extremely light weight backup that runs on easily available batteries.

@keelee7771 Neither would I. Maybe you have a faulty unit? Mine has been spot on for the last 2 years. It has never gotten me lost.

Thanks for the review, I have been thinking of getting one of these.

Nice review. How long do the batteries last and do you lose your way points when you change the batteries?
