  • Very helpful, thankyou. :)

  • @tomruls Glad you found it useful!

  • huh?

  • Thanks for the demo - very informative. But I find it mind boggling they would build a GPS device that doesn't actually display longitude and latitude on it !?

  • @wmrandth That is a limitation sadly. However, it is an extremely light weight backup that runs on easily available batteries.

  • @Alloutdoor1 Yes, both very good features. I like the simplicity of it. If it only had lat. & long. display, I'd leave my Garmin at home and use just this with a map.

  • mine is off apx. 24 deg. always. i wouldn't bet my life on it.

  • @keelee7771 Neither would I. Maybe you have a faulty unit? Mine has been spot on for the last 2 years. It has never gotten me lost.

  • Thanks for the review, I have been thinking of getting one of these.

  • Nice review. How long do the batteries last and do you lose your way points when you change the batteries?

  • @EnduringEagle The batteries have so far lasted over a year, ive used the unit about 40-50 times during this period keeping it on for about 10-15 minutes at a time. The way points stay in memory even when the batteries are removed (which is good to know!).

  • thanks for the review I want one

  • good review thanks for uploading...interesting the price difference from the camo version to your orange version? like 14 dollars? and i think thats silly

  • @gasdorf I agree, that is ridiculous!

  • @Alloutdoor1 i did get lost at night last year on a pitch black trail ..this device got me to my car ...

  • @gasdorf It has saved my butt a few times too! Just shows i need to improve my navigational skills.
