Hemp and marijuana are two different varieties of cannabis sativa. Smoking Marijuana will make one high and hemp won't because hemp has almost no THC and marijuana has 5 to 20 percent THC. Hemp can also grow up to 25 ft and marijuana is usually much shorter. Hemp can also be used for many things as described in the video but marijuana can only make you high.

You should have mention that hemp and hemp(marijuana) are 2 different plants hemp is the non-psychoactive cousin of hemp(marijuana). Hemp is a common name for Cannabis sativa and the name most used when this annual plant is grown for non-drug purposes. Hemp is a very low quality variety of marijuana, the sex of the plant is irrevelent when distinguishing between the two, the THC quanity is. they are both different names given to the plant Cannabis sativa. the different names are used depending on what the plant is being grown for. plants grown for non-recreational purposes are usually refered to as hemp. THIS IS THE ONLY DIFFERENCE!

Hemp and marijuana are two different varieties of cannabis sativa. Smoking Marijuana will make one high and hemp won't because hemp has almost no THC and marijuana has 5 to 20 percent THC. Hemp can also grow up to 25 ft and marijuana is usually much shorter. Hemp can also be used for many things as described in the video but marijuana can only make you high.

Since Hemp is legal in the Netherlands, my northern neighbour, they should prerably set the example by implementing hemp into all products mentioned in this movie. This thing is not about legalizing Marijuana...This will end up people stealing and distributing Marijuana all over the world. Hemp or pot w/e shall be used in what the video said JUST by the specialized producers of food/clothing/fuel etc, and not let people use and cultivate is as they wish, because it isn't safe. It is safer, in theory, than even caffeine because it is impossible to die of an overdose of it. There IS however a problem with cannabis as a drug and that is its proven ability to trigger rather serious psychotic episodes in some individuals. Usually this takes the form of a 48 hour period of emotional turmoil, which is made worse by the illegal status of the substance which prevents the user from seeking help.

You should have mention that hemp and hemp(marijuana) are 2 different plants hemp is the non-psychoactive cousin of hemp(marijuana). The hemp that is used for food, fuel, clothing, paper etc is not the same as hemp used for medicine. Hemp IS legal that is why you can buy hemp product (at least in Canada). Hemp(marijuana) is what needs to be legalized. But remember with legalization comes control and that includes THC content. Decriminalizing is way smarter and allows people to harvest and sell.

there has never been any study that said smoking marijuana leads to schizophrenia. That misconception comes from a study that shows that most schizophrenics smoked weed as teenagers. The doctors who did this study have commented that they believe this is a form of self-medication, and schizophrenics smoke weed before they are diagnosed because it helps them deal with their disease.
