It might just be the effects are poorer or something, but I'm more convinced by the fight scenes in Jason Bourne, Hanna and Sucker Punch personally. I remember Hitman being sick as when I first saw it years ago though.

LordAkiras right. Thing about it though, is that most game to movie conversions don't work. For example, 47 in the games is emotionless. Keep him that way and he alienates the audience. Change him, you lose the fans. Either way you lose out.

the real 47 doesnt get messy with knives and hand to hand combat. he uses poisons, quiet, clean methods.

and not once, NOT ONCE, did this movie make use of piano wire. VERY poor.

Overall I liked the movie. I think Timothy Olyphant does a great job (although he shouldn't have been offered the part since he appears to be much younger than the actual 47 - which was kind of off-putting). Other than that anything else that's wrong with this movie is not really on him, mainly 47's display of feelings and excessive talking which is not typical of his character (I blame the writers here). I do appreciate them dropping the mutation stuff. I've never liked that about the game.
