hi, maybe someone could answer me why ubuntu is used more than kubuntu when kubuntu has such a more friendly feel moving from windows?, I tried ubuntu and I much prefer the "classic" feel of kubuntu . . all replys to this comment really appreciated thank you in advanced.

How did you get compiz to work with KDE 4?

It worked fine with KDE 4.1 upwards.
Do the same as you did with KDE 3.
