Kefka wasnt silly. He just didn't take YOU seriously. Because, as a nihilist, he absolutely believed that nomatter what you did, nomatter how hard you tried, it wouldnt be worth a damn.

And for easily 60

% of the game he was right.

PS: I have also heard it said that kefka is not acutally dressed as a clown but rather a 18c court wizard.

FF6 is far superior in story to FF7's Momma complexed storyline.

FF6 really delved into the depressing really dire type of situation(s) that make a game worth playing. Epicness XD If they remake it, they should keep the dark aspects, and make it even darker ;3

But in my opinion the most epic series to ever meet a console is Xenosaga/Gears.

You know, if you were to just play FFVI from start to finish, like without ANY random battles at all, you would probably have about three hours of gameplay.

But if they did make a FFVI movie, then they would probably cut out the best parts, like Terra's Transformation, and, I shudder to think of it, but Celes's Opera Scene and Setzer's stealing of 'Maria' and Darill's Tomb, where they get a new airship.

Oh I beg to differ. For years I've imaginged FF VI as a movie. Of course cutting out battles and many of the bosses would be necessary. But it would be a legnthy movie in order to include key parts as CelesShadow mentioned. Maybe they can do a two-part or even a trilogy. That would be cool to make one movie in the world of balance, and the second part in the world of ruin leading to the finale

Gosh, I would kill for a Final Fantasy 6 movie, Except I wouldn't look forward to seeing who the voice actors for the english traslation would be...No one in the right mind could pull off Kefka without sounding like an insane clown, and for all we know, they could have Brad Pitt doing Locke's voice. But still, they shouldn't focus so much on Final Fantasy 7, even know it was a good game, it's surely not the best.

From FFVI, FFVII has a better ATB meter. FFVI had the slowest paced combat in the series, also the materia system was a huge improvement from the clunky esper system.

You know, it's only Final Fantasy III [which is a Final Fantasy NEVER released in America] that is being remade for the DS. The original Final Fantasy III has now been remade for the GBA and is under the guise of Final Fantasy VI. Final Fantasy IV is coming to the DS, however.

FFVI is officialy announced for the DS. When FFIII for DS was finished they announced FFIV, FFV and FFVI for the DS, as well DQIV-VI. They released FFIV in Japan in December, if there's a game released every year, I wouldn't expect FFVI in the US until 2010.

Indeed, I'd say they'd have to to a two parter like kill bill, or a miniseries. Personally (and I'm saying this out of pure practicality as I would love nothing more than to see an FF6 movie) I think #4 would translate best into film. It's straightforward, has good characters and a neat monster at the end. Plus who could pull off kefka? seriously
