Great Episode.

Superman kicked fucking ass in WoNK 3. I really enjoyed it. I love seeing Supergirl in action and Superman using his mind and not just his muscle.

The Batman thing was OK, but kinda seemed like a plug for Bats, when Supes is perfectly capable of getting shit done himself.

That said... is World of New Krypton #1 a good jumping on point if I haven't been paying attention to the Super-books for awhile? I love Superman and it sounds like something I'd be into but I just don't want to be lost.

It is a god point to start. It is also the ONLY book Superman is currently in. I would say check it out Nkerklaan. It's one of the few things I think DC is doing right.

i totally agree with you guys about bendis. it seems like everybody ELSE writes his teams (dark/new/mighty) a 100 times better then he does or ever could. i'm scared for marvel's future cuz i don't want to see another POS event like snoring invasion.

oh and IMO, superman is so boring. in fact, i kinda have a burning hate for him. but that's just me though.

you guys should do a full review of exiles once this current arc wraps up. i'd like to hear what you think.

every dark avengers appearance in other books have been better by far. the guys mentioned a lot, but one they didn't was in the last issue of incredible hercules. they were great in that.

another example of bendis failures: mighty avengers. i dropped mighty pretty much after the ultron story but now i'm back like over a dozen issues later. the power of a GOOD writer.

Just looking through Previews, you guys got any thoughts on Wednesday comics from DC? I think it could be something special.

I did have very high hopes for Wednesday Comics a few months ago when I heard all the talent that would be on that book and how Didio said the book would cost only a dollar or two.

Well I'm not too excited anymore. How the fuck does Didio now expect people to pay $4 an issue that consists of only 12 oversized pages on fucking newsprint?

I'll wait for a collection on better paper for not as much money as buying all the issues individually. The pages I've seen though look amazing.

3.99 is a blow but these pages are going to be absolutely HUGE, allegedly up to 50 panels a page. Having seen one a part of one of the Kamandi pages it just looks beautiful, layouts and text captions like Prince Valiant .

I'm in on it and yes I'll probably buy the Absolute version when it comes out, it'll be bigger than Kramers Ergot 7!

Theres nothing new &interesting in the marvel solicits, just more and more dark reign 3.99 minis and I know where I'd rather put my 3.99 ...wednesday comics
